Orange Peel Box Subscription Review + Coupon – September 2017

Orange Peel Box is a monthly subscription box that features artisan made, 100% pure aromatherapy products for your room, body, and spirit.

My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

The Subscription Box: Orange Peel Box

The Cost: $49.90

The Products: 4 to 6 premium quality, full-size aromatherapy products.

Ships to: US (free shipping) and Worldwide (shipping costs vary)

This box comes with a card detailing the items included. This month’s theme is all about Serenity.

RareEssence Meditation Candle – Value $12

This soy and beeswax candle is scented only with essential oils!

The scent is a blend of Frankincense, Myrhh, Clary Sage, Peru Balsam, Lavender, and Sandalwood. The fragrance is very subtle. I’ve been burning it for about an hour now, and I can notice it, but it isn’t overpowering like some candles.

RareEssence Dream Room Mist – Value $13.50

This room mist is a blend of lavender and clary sage. The lavender really dominates, so this is perfect for relaxation. You could use it before bedtime, after a workout to cool down, etc.

Plantlife Lavender Aromatherapy Personal Mist – Value $9.90

More lavender! Fortunately for me, I love this scent, so a box of lavender-scented things is my dream! This spray is the one non-blend in the box. (Lavender is the only essential oil used.) In addition to spritzing this on your body, you can try misting your pillow, too!

Sage Spirit Sage & Lavender Smudge Stick – Value $5.82

I’ve seen smudge sticks used on reality TV (I love any Bravo real estate show), but please excuse my ignorance as I didn’t know much about them or their origins until now.

Sage Spirit Smudge Wands are made from a combination of sage, cedar sweetgrass, lavender and copal. Wrapped with 100% cotton string, each wand is considered a sacred herb used for centuries by Native Americans in the smudging ceremony. “Smudging” is the name given to the burning of these sacred herbs for the purpose of cleansing and sending out prayers. Today, people are smudging to receive the benefits known to our Native American brothers and sisters for generations.

Orange Peel Box recommends using this smudge stick to remove negative energy from your home, car, or any used item you have purchased.

RareEssence Inhaler Sleep – Value $7

This is a unique item and an easy way to keep aromatherapy with you at all times! This inhaler lasts for 3 months and is a lovely blend of lavender and chamomile. (No need to worry about oils spilling!)

Verdict: This box has a value of about $48.22. That’s just under the cost of the box ($49.90), so it’s a bit of a disappointing value. I would expect the retail value of this box to be at least $60+.

Value issues aside, I think the curation of this box is great and I love that everything included used only essential oils – no artificial fragrances! And I’m a lavender lover, so this entire box smells fab to me!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes. If you sign up in September, your first box will be the September box.

  1. I think it is funny those inhalers are showing up in boxes now. My dad had a Vicks one back in the early 1980s. Was actually surprisingly good at clearing the sinuses. Wish I could find them in stores now.

    • Lol I had one as a child in the 80’s. They were awesome!! And they would last forever!!!

  2. I’m so happy to see this reviewed!!

    • Yay! Any other boxes you are hoping to see reviewed? 🙂

      • I would love to see reviews for any of the Zenbunni subscription boxes, if at all possible in the future.
