I love everything but the color-pop . I got some weird brown color that is horrible on me , don’t care for color-pop much anyway. Do love the pallet !

I have the pink color. Would you like to swap?

I signed up and was charged does that mean I am not on the waiting list? (this was on the 1st). Also when is the shipping date?

Correct, if you were charged you aren’t waitlisted anymore. I normally get a tracking number about 5 business days after I was charged. It takes awhile but worth it

It’ll be my luck that I’ll get the hair product. I’ve not worn my real hair in public for several years! Hair masks don’t do well on synthetic wigs! 😁😉😁

Why didn’t I sign up for this box sooner!!! I tortured myself and looked back at the past few month’s reviews. I am a total beauty junkie and even if I wouldn’t typically wear something beauty items are great gifts for friends and family. I’m really excited!! Hopefully this will save me some money going forward lol

Hi all. My husband just surprised me with a boxycharm subscription & September will be my first box. I do SFX & stage makeup on a local level & this seems like a great & inexpensive way to help maintain some of my kits & replace brushes. I’ve never had a subscription box before so I was wondering if any one could tell me what to expect? I’ve done a ton of research but I would love to hear from actual subscribers. So far what I’ve read has been a mixed bag. Im really excited about this & I want to love it & not be disappointed so any input would be invaluable. Thank you so much!

I have had almost every beauty subscription box you can find, and Boxycharm is the best! As a MUA, it’s a great way to get higher end (think Sephora) makeup without buying full price or settling for sample size. The only downfall is the randomization of the box. I’ve never been disappointed, and for $21/ month you can’t lose! One product pays for your entire box every month.

If you’re looking to replace brushes you should check out the liveglam morphme brush club or every couple of months sigma beauty launches some really great mystery boxes. But genuinely out of all the beauty boxes boxycharm really stands out as a winner every single month. They mix it up as much as they can, and always have items that even if I can’t use I can give away. Good luck with your research!

It’s definitely makeup heavy, I’ve only been with Boxycharm for a few months now but I love the boxes I’ve gotten so far. I’ve not been disappointed with them except for having to wait so long for the box to arrive since I get impatient after seeing the spoilers lol 😂 I hope you love it as much as I do!

It’s a beauty box so you could get hair and skin items, but it’s mostly makeup, including actual makeup, brushes/tools, and nail polish. It’s always a great value, and only once have I been generally disappointed in my box. It’s generally a mix of known brands and more obscure, subscription box only type of brands. So long as you’re open minded and don’t have ridiculous expectations, you’ll have lots of fun with this! Sometimes the quality is better than others, but it’s a great chance to try stuff out.

Thanks! I always enjoy playing with different brands so this should be fun for me. Glad to hear it’s makeup heavy, that’s what I need. 😊

These box contents are not blowing me away like the last few boxes – but I’m definitely still looking forward to them (esp the palette! Seems perfect for this time of year). Plus, I’m looking forward to the spoiler for October and the brand spoilers for the rest of the year!
I will stay subscribed for awhile, you always get great value and I’ve found their customer service to be great! They sent me a whole new replacement blinc palette after my first one arrived damaged. It’s such a welcome relief after dealing with the horror that is glossybox!

I am glad tyhat boxycharm is finally having some brown lippie colors for woc. Not everyone can wear pink nudes and light colors without adding a lip pdncil to pull it off. I appreciate they are taking every color in mind. Love my #boxycharm

I’m fair-skinned and am looking forward to neutral lip colors. Every pink lip item turns even brighter pink on me, some even HOT pink.

Interesting. I have little stitious and it looks nothing like any of the colors in the sneak peek picture. Maybe it’s bad lighting?

Will all products be full size? Even the hair mask?! I’ve never subbed to this box before but am strongly considering it!

yes! All items are full sized.

These seem to be greige lip colors? It kinda fits in with the Instagram baddie theme of thick brows (the Mac brow pencil), the neutral fall colors eyeshadow palette and the greige ColourPop satin lips.

Becca
That makes sense!

Eh like a lot of them people said the only wearable color of those Lippies for me would be the pink one so I’m not very excited about that.
Boxycharm is newer for me and I loved the last two months but this one is pretty blah for me. I’m excited for October if I get the powder becca item. Not sure I’ll stay if I don’t

Of course I’m hoping I get the pinkish lip color, but I think it’s great that they’re doing colors that look stellar on WoC for at least one month even if they don’t look great on me.

Becca
I’m just glad it’s not a red or hot pink like some of them have been in the past. Don’t wear those on my lips or nails.

Me too. I’m hoping for the dark brown color. I just subscribed and I’ve never been this excited about receiving anything subscription box.

I hope I get a lighter color lippie I always get the one I don’t like and I give them away to friends. This is going to be my last Boxycharm for awhile just not feeling like I’m really using what I get most of the time. Love Boxycharm worth the money totally. Not using as much makeup as I use to. I use to be so excited when I got my Boxycharm their was different products like face masks and handcreams and perfume and skincare. Plus brands I never tried I’ve tried most of the brand’s I’ve been getting and it’s not as much fun. I’ll give it 6, 12 month’s and resubcribe when I use up some of my makeup.

How can you do that? Is there a way to opt out? I won’t use a single one of these awful items, but I prepaid, so I don’t know how to get out of it! 2nd month in a row of total fails!

Can’t wait for the ColourPop lippies! I am looking forward to some very WEARABLE shades for my skin tone. I am a WOC and quite often we are forgotten about when it comes to lippie variations and almost always when foundation samples are sent. So even though a lot of people think these shades are “ew” to quote another comment, I, for one, am happy to be remembered at least once a year. Perhaps that person can think about the other skin tones the other 11 months of the year when they send out a “nude” collection or variation and think how nude is it if you are a NC45. I don’t usually comment but I just thought that it’s was a little ridiculous and possibly a bit unkind to say “ew” about something that is flattering to a whole gamut of skin tones. Just my thoughts.

Plus! These colors are SO fun for mixing & ombré lips! C’mon peeps get creative instead of complaining! 😍💖💋🦄

I agree and always think that when people say “ew’ or “yuck.” So rude. I’m not a WOC but often use products made for WOC because I’m on the darker side and have thick, curly, coarse hair (think Jew-fro) that I tame regularly. I do love my nudes and pales, as well as brights and darks against my darker skin though as well. I’m just glad to see some lovely browns instead of red.
Reply
Jennifer
I didn’t mean for my comment to offend anyone – the “ew” was based off how I felt the color would look on me. I can see why WoC would like these – they’ll look great on deeper skin tones. I am pasty white and brown lips would look terrible on me. Hopefully they will assign colors based on our beauty profiles so that we’ll each get one that suits our skin coloring the best.

Lori
*Like* I’m really happy to see this shade range for a change… & I’m truly hoping that Boxycharm will actually look at the profiles and send the colors that we all want 😊

Pancake
What is unkind about an individual saying “ew” about how a brown lipstick looks on her skin tone? After all, she is not generalizing about brown lipstick on all skin colors. That said, I am glad there are more attempts to be inclusive.

Good point Elise. Though I’m hoping for the pinker one, If I do get the browner shades, I will just play around with mixing it with other lip shades. That’s what’s fun about boxy, getting stuff to experiment with. I hope you get a shade you like!
