Wellness Tribe’s August theme is focused on the Sun Kissed Box: “Keep your face to the SUN and you will never see the SHADOWS.” This card also provides a list of all the items included in the box.
Batik Boutique Travel Pouch – Listed Value $28.00
I love that this beautiful pouch was handmade by artisans in Malaysia that train women from low-income backgrounds to create items with batik fabric. This bag is very pretty and will quickly take space in my purse so I can look at it daily. There wasn’t an exact match on the Batik Boutique website so I listed the value as stated by Wellness Tribe.
Moondani Naturals Breath Mist (5 ml) – Value $8.50
I usually carry Altoids because I love coffee and all flavors strong. This mist is strong enough that I feel confident speaking to someone in close quarters. It’s pretty strong which is what I like but it may be overpowering for some people. I would definitely buy this again.
Zabana Essentials After Sun Rejuvenating Mist (Green Tea Coconut) (4 fl oz) – Value $19.95
I love the idea of keeping this in the refrigerator and spraying it on after being out in the sun. We have some pretty hot days coming up later this week so I’m going to try that. The scent is definitely more on the coconut side but it reminds me of my sun bathing days so I love it.
Emmy’s Macaroon Lemon Ginger Coconut, 0.67 oz. – Value $0.97 (buy 12 3-cookie bags for $29.95)
This little macaroon cookie is yummy with an overwhelming coconut flavor. Personally, I’d like to see more lemon and ginger flavor too but I still liked it.
Gypsy Soul Sun Salutation Salve – Value $4.99
This salve made from “sunflower oil, olive oil, beeswax, shea butter, cocoa butter, vanilla & honey” is to be used for heal and nourish “anything between the sun and the moon….” There is just a subtle scent of cocoa butter and vanilla which I love. We are using this as a salve for all my little girl’s cuts and bruises.
Story of My Tea Cold Brew Iced Tea – Sunkissed Wildest Mints, single pack – Value $3.00
Story of My Tea Cold Brew Iced Tea – You’re My Berry Pie, single pack – Value $3.00
The names for these teas are so cute! All you have to do is pop the little packet into a quart of water and 8 hours later you have some cold brew iced tea. I have some Berry Pie in the refrigerator now and I love the hibiscus flavor in it.
Verdict: I always enjoy Wellness Tribe and this month I especially like the Batik Boutique travel pouch and the Moondani Breath Mist. The quality of this box is consistently high and while I may not absolutely love every item, they are always something I will use so I never feel like I didn’t get my money’s worth. The value of this box is also consistently good and some months it is amazing. This month there was $68.41 worth of products for $39.95 (plus $5 shipping) which makes me happy.
