How about a gift for subbing for 5 years? x0 I just grabbed the Marc Anthony True Professional Hydrating Coconut Oil & Shea Butter Oil Treatment for 350 points.

I don’t see anyone talking about the Ipsy Cash booklet that was included in the bag, I received mine today and immediately bought some First Aid Beauty serum and saved nearly half the regular cost. The cash value goes either via check or to your Paypal.

Was your ipsy package gold instead of pink? Heard of a couple ppl getting gold instead of pink packages and one mentioned receiving the ipsy cash booklet in it but guessing that it’s pretty rare.

Mine was gold this month, and so was my Mom’s bag. I received an ipsy cash booklet this month, but hadn’t heard of it previously.

Melissa

I didn’t get an ipsy cash booklet, and hardly see any mention of it online so guessing most ppl didn’t

I don’t know how many people have gotten the ipsy cash booklet. It isn’t everyone, and this is only the second month they’ve been sending it out. I am hoping to get one eventually, but not really holding my breath, either.

I got mine this month in a gold mailer with my regular ipsy stuff, but idk how I feel about it. .. I saw a couple estee edit products in there for their regular price and you can get that stuff for way cheaper at Marshall’s!!! Doesn’t seem worth it…

You swapped 350 points for a packet of hair treatment?

The packet in question is 1.69 oz, so depending on one’s hair length, it could yield several uses. It’s comparable in size to a standard “deluxe sample” hair mask in a tube. There’s not much objective “value” in the point rewards – it’s all pretty relative.

That said, I do think ipsy has significantly inflated the point cost of its rewards overall. But there’s not much that we can do about that – it’s their rewards program, they can structure it however they want.

Thanks for posting this! I just snagged the IGK scrub. Unlike most 750 point rewards, a full-size $36 IGK product actually feels worth it. It has mixed reviews; however, I tried a scalp scrub in one of the Sephora Favorite kits and while it was far too coarse for my tastes, the general idea/ experience was awesome

I kind of feel like the Ipsy headband should be a bonus gift for a year subscription not something to buy with points.

Hahaha! I was just about to post the same thing! Who would waste 350 points on that? They could have at least had it as a 50 point option. 350 takes a long time to accumulate!

Sara

Agree!! I’d never use points to buy that.

Lol – I was just thinking that I might order the headband! Keep my hair out of my face when I’m washing it or playing with makeup. For me, the points are all gravy, it’s free stuff either way.

Completely agree!
