Tricky Wishes – Value: $14.99?

Each player receives 3 cards – On your turn, you must do 2 of the 3 actions: Peek (look at others cards), Switch (switch the positions of any cards), or Shuffle (shuffle your 3 cards and getting to look at 1). When a player thinks they have a complete set to win, they say, “I wish!”

All players then reveal their cards (AKA wishes) and the player with the complete wish set (1 Super Power, 1 Gift, 1 World Harmony) wins!

This game was fun and I loved how into it my younger cousins got when yelling, “I wish!”

Leo goes to the barber – Value: $19.99?

Ages 6+ – 2-5 Players

The goal of this game is to get Leo the lion to his haircut on time before his mane gets too long or the barbershop closes. To do so, you and your teammates must work together and use your memory.

Before starting, all players have evenly distributed movement cards that only they should see. On your turn, you lay down your choice of movement card for all players to see and move the number of spaces on said card. Once you land on the space, turn it over and if the space card matches the color of your movement card, you had a successful turn and no time has been lost. If the card is a different color, you lose time, meaning the barbershop's hours get closer to closing time. The goal is to get Leo the end of the board (the barbershop) before the clock hits zero.

This game was fun and took about 30-40 minutes to play. The player with the loudest roar goes first, let’s play!

Mask of Pharaoh – Value: $24.99?

Ages 10+ – 2+ Players

The goal of this game is to get to the Pharaoh’s chamber. To do so, players work together by creating a maze based off the directions of what one player sees in the virtual reality app, and how he/she describes it to the other players who build it.

There is some assembly required, but it’s not very difficult to create this fun looking virtual reality mask!

There are a lot of pieces in this game and before beginning to play, be sure to separate all of them and get acquainted as well, they’re very important to create a correct maze. Now it’s time to play! Start the app and start describing to your best ability, you only have 1 minute to look!

This was definitely the most fun game for my friends and I. This game is described as 10+, but my adult friends and I really enjoyed it!

Verdict: This crate offers exclusive games for all age ranges in the family and I had a blast playing them! With the cost of each game averaging around $17 each, I’d say this is very fair compared to what you’d pay online or in the store. All in all, I would recommend this quarterly subscription box for any family who is looking for a fun night in!

I was really interested in the first game, which I found on amazon listed as “Three Wishes”. The 2nd game is apparently German (neat!) and the third game is listed as “Mask of Anubis” and is French.

Neat subscription, just not sure I need it right now.
