Good Being Box Subscription Review – August 2017

Good Being box is a natural and organic beauty box. Each month you'll receive a box customized to your beauty profile. (This is a box that will have some variation between subscribers.)

You also get to pick two of your products each month!

My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

The Subscription Box: Good Being Box

The Cost: $21 a month

The Products: Eco-friendly beauty and wellness products.

Ships to: US only.

Check out my Good Being reviews and the Eco-friendly Subscription Box Directory for similar boxes!

Every box comes with cards detailing each product.

Now, on to the items!

OSEA Ocean Cleanser – 1 oz (Travel Size) Value $16

I really love the OSEA brand (I'll never get tired of seeing it in subscription boxes). All their made with only natural and organic ingredients and everything smells amazing. This cleanser is non-foaming, but it still does a great job of cleansing my skin without drying it out.

Emani Lip Shine in Ski Bunny - FULL SIZE! Value $16

This vegan lip gloss has a sweet flavor, and the formula has a ton of shine, and a fair amount of shimmer and color.

Not too much stickiness either! Here it is swatched:

Isa's Restoratives Immortelle Beauty Balm - 1/8 oz Value $8

This balm is solid in the jar, but as soon as it comes into contact with your skin, it just melts in! I found that it absorbed faster than a typical balm, and it felt luxe and rich on my skin. I would have preferred a non-rose scent, but otherwise, no complaints! (All natural and organic ingredients, too!)

Gypsy Soul Organics Nephew River Mist - FULL SIZE! Value $20

This spray can be used as a perfume, a room spray, linen spray, for yoga and meditation practices, etc.

This is a blend of lemon, grapefruit, lime, and basil essential oils. (Citrus + Basil = a favorite combination of mine!) The basil is the strongest fragrant note, but that's fine with me! (I recently learned from going a little over zealous with basil essential oil and our diffuser that my husband Eric is NOT a basil fan, so I'll be using this minimally!)

Shamanuti Sun Butter Creme - Samples

This formula is hydrating and gentle on my skin - BUT! A word of caution! It is not a butter, or a cream. It is a liquid, and it will get everywhere if you aren't careful opening the packet. (Hopefully, my mistake can save your sample!)

Verdict: This box has a value of about $60. That's great for a $21 natural beauty box, especially when you consider that Good Being lets you pick two of your samples every month. All the samples are good sizes, too. And multiple full-size items!

What do you think of the August Good Being Box? Which products did you pick this month?

This looks like a great box, and that lip gloss is so pretty.

I love this box. Since I’m a previous subscriber, I’m in the “lifestyle” category based on my preferences. As a result, I received a beaded bracelet that I absolutely love. I’m also pleased they’ve improved shipping – I now get my boxes within a day or two of tracking, not 1-1/2 weeks, as before. IMO, the price increase is worth it.

It looks like you get to select 1 item each month with the $9.95 option. Plus now you can determine when you subscribe if you want beauty or lifestyle to be the theme of your boxes.

I was hesitant about the gloss at first because I thought the color was too orange for me but I actually love it. Aside from the gloss my box was completely different. I love how much they pay attention to your profile.

Liz, what were the items you selected? Also, how much variation goes with this box? Thank you…!
