  1. Hi are there any codes for $10 a month again for 3 months? I heard there is but cannot find it. I had the 3 months for june to august. Any info is greatly appreciated, thank you in advance!

    Liz it concerns me because I love your blog ,you helped me so much and I want to follow the blog guidelines.
    I do respect you and love the way you write,I do feel we really are part of a community of friends with the same passion, because of that I do feel compelled to express myself and tell people about my awful experience with GLOSSYBOX and everything I founded out online about how a lot of people are in the same boat as costumer service wise.
    How to proceed?
    The guidelines say to don’t repeatedly talk down a subscription,or something in between this lines, should take this subject to the forum or don’t share?
    I will not share if it would mean be banned from my subscription addiction.
    The reason I’m bringing this up before anything,is because I had learned a lot from you and you brought me a lot of joy!!
    Thank you and I don’t want to lose that.
    Please let me know ,if it is best just join the forums.

      You are always welcome to share your feedback on a box, whether it is good or bad. Sorry if we gave you the wrong impression about that. (Our discussion guidelines are more about negative/hateful speech directed at other commenters.)

      We also made a change a few months ago to include the MSA reader rating on all posts, so all readers could see what the community thought about a box before buying.

        I do love your blog and I just wanted to be respectful,I do it better now understand the guidelines.

        So when I learned about the GILT VOUCHER ,I bought the ICONIC PINK BOX plus the SPECIAL EDITION .
        Long story short,over a month without reply after my box had been sent violated,I was expecting the ICONIC PINK in the picture ,which was misleading ,it’s sent any .I just was able to get any contact after posting on their FB page,which ,I hate doing it.
        I love to give praises and not complain,in fact my first email to them it was complimenting them for their MOTHERS DAY BOX THE ICONIC PINK ,the one in the picture that I bought the voucher and I thought that I was going to get.
        Nope bait click.
        They never replied.
        After getting my opened box I emailed back,2weeks no replies ,the mail helped me and told me they didn’t send me a tracking number for the second box,I thought it had been stolen,it said 2 boxes and had 1 tracking number.
        Over a month when I msg them in private and said,please solve my case I don’t want to post in your FB page.
        So it begins,I saw the shower of unhappiness ,all people that had my or way worse problems than mine.
        Eventually they got in contact with me and said I’m sorry but never sent me another box to substitute the one with the broken seal and just said that I got an iconicpink box.
        I said it was a misleading ad ,I thought it was a mother’s day one ,had the pic,they just said sorry.
        So I called GILT to report them,I got 15%off in my next purchase and an appologie from GILT and they said they will look into GLOSSYBOX.

  3. I usually look on the bright side of everything but this Glossybox for July is a deal breaker. The only thing I liked was the box itself and the paw paw cream. Their customer service is non existent and the reviews for the products in my box were things I never received. The yellow and purple box was cute but not enough for me to even consider this service. I hope it is not too hard to cancel.

  4. I subscribed for July/Aug/Sept for $30 for three months. The July box had a broken blush. I emailed them and about a week later, got a second July box (the worst one IMO w lipstick and après tan lotion). I emailed and asked them if they sent the second box for the broken blush. After more than a week, I’ve received no response but I also received another blush in the mail. I’m so confused…

    • It seems like a lot of people who took advantage of the 3 months for $30 deal received two July boxes, and there’s a lot of confusion as to whether that box counts as their 2nd box, with August being their last box in the 3 month sub. So far, it seems like nobody is getting a reply from GB to see what the deal is with the 2nd box. But, I’ve also seen where some of those same people cancelled their sub, and their account said that September’s box would be their last. So, maybe that 2nd July box is just a bonus box due to a glitch on their end?

      • Happened to me….. I got two July boxes. I was hoping that it was for my referral that I got the 2nd box.

        If I don’t get the sept. box for the $30 special then I can unsub.

  5. I’ve been getting Glossy Box for a year and have been completely happy all this time, until I ran into a problem in July. They don’t answer email, then you say something on social media, they respond and say PM us. Then you get a response that it will take 14 days for them to ge t to you. That is not acceptable for customer service, that will be a total of 5 weeks to get attention to my problem. I’m canceling….I’m a stickler for customer service. These boxes are supposed to be fun, not a hassle.

    • OMG THIS IS MY EXACT PROBLEM! I was subscribed last year and never had a problem. I had to stop since I moved but I saw the 3 months for 10/each and thought oh wow such a good deal… imna re-sub … THEY DONT ANSWER! my nail polish thing came dry,,, i emailed them… no reply… i called them… 20 minutes on hold…. no reply… i messaged them on IG and they said DM us.. i did;… NO REPLY!!!! they finally answer me after 6 days saying they will mail a new one… I don;t have any hope that this will happen but this is too much work.. i canceled it

      • I did the three month deal also. My July box my blush was beyond broken and the nail polish remover thing was completely dry. On top of that I ended up getting the lipstick and it was broken at the base. They asked me to send pictures of the damaged items but I just threw them away because of all of the problems I have read about. Just wanted to say that I feel your pain!

      • My nail polish remover pen came broken too. I emailed twice. The second time was a week later and they finally replied and sent me new one. I did receive a replacement but it took three weeks to get it.

  6. This is just my two cents. I’ve never had an issue with Glossy. I’ve subbed and cancelled with the multiple times with no problems in the past. I just finished my 3 month box deal for 10 bucks a month (June, July, August) also with no issue. So it is too bad that it appears some folks are having bad luck with them because the box is typically pretty good and I’m always excited when they show up. In any case I do recommend if you can get this box for 10 bucks a month to do it. It is totally worth it. the regular price tag isn’t bad either but it’s always great to save money. Just remember to cancel before the 14th of the month of your last box month (easy on line thing to do- look in their FAQ if you can’t find the cancel button). For example I just cancelled, but I will still get my August box because they already charged me. Anyway- sorry to hear some folks are not having a good time with Glossy, but my experience has been positive.

      My last month with the 10 deal will be in September, could you helpme!? When I’m supposed to cancel to avoid the charge of $21???

      • cancel before the 14th of the month and you should be ok. you will get a confirmation email that you cancelled. so if you don’t get that within a day make sure to check back. but i’ve never had an issue.

  8. I have had an issue with Glossybox so beware! I signed up for the summer special which was $10 a month for June, July and August. I was charged $10 in June, $10 in July and I just received a charge for August of their full monthly price of $22. Their customer service is like nothing I have ever seen of any company. I canceled my subscription and I will likely lose the extra $12 I paid for the August box. By the way the promo code I am referring to was “summer17”. Great products but I am so bad they overcharged me for the August box. $12 won’t kill me but if you offer a deal don’t overcharge people and then offer no customer service.

    • I was going to sign up for that but had a question. Took them 19 days to answer. That was my sign to just say NO!

      • I signed up for 3 months of boxes for 30. They sent me 2 identical boxes. One with a broken blush in it. No response from customer service. Will probably cancel this subscription.

        • This happened to me too! When I signed up for the “summer17” deal I received 2 identical boxes for June (actually was charged $10 twice but I didn’t mind it because I really liked the June box so I was ok getting 2 of them and paying $10 each. I had to go online and cancel 1 account. I don’t know how they could have processed my initial as 2 boxes for the same customer going to the same address under the same promo code summer17.

    • They have THE WORST customer service. I’m honestly surprised it’s hasn’t been addressed by MSA. They have deceptive marketing tactics and will flat out lie to you in an email, and say something completely different on social media. Not to me thon sending products that are months away from expiring.

      • MSA kinda did. There is a best beauty box recommendations for 2017 post that MSA put together where I think like 16 beauty boxes were listed as recommended for subscribers and Glossybox wasn’t on the list.

    • Oh wow, I just checked my account to make sure mine for $10 for Aug. because I was on the same plan and it was okay. I don’t know why so many people have issues with glossybox. I’ve honestly had no issues with my products and it’s easy to cancel online with a click of a button unlike beautyfix- whom I also like besides that one issue. I been subbed on and off with glossybox over the last 2 years and it’s been pretty good, besides getting a few boxes I didn’t really care for. The worst sub for me was LLB which I lost some $$ on when they fell through. I never pre-pay anymore because of that horrid company. But for the most part I’ve been lucky in my sub box experience and thanks largely to MSA and their helpful reviews!

      • I am very happy for you but I can tell no one chose to have problems with them and for one happy costumer there is others that won’t get their orders,be overcharged etc it’s rolling the dice.
        It’s up to people to ask if they want to take the chance.
        Because if they have problems well just look the numbers…

    • I had an issue that was not solved, costumer service isn’t their best,do some research before,when a box has so many promos is sometimes a sign that people are leaving and they new new subscribers.
      Go to their Facebook page and click in posts of others, won’t be in the main page.
