Leonida’s Feuilltine Chocolate Bar, 1.76 oz. - Value $3.17 (Buy a box of 12 for $38)
I really like milk chocolate so this chocolate bar was definitely for me! It’s smooth, with “fragments of crunchy biscuit” mixed in. Yum is all there is to say!
Chocolat Moderne Lemon Up, 4.8 oz. - Value $8.00
Well, right away I sort of knew I wouldn’t be a huge fan of this car. I don’t like white chocolate, at all. I thought it was an interesting mix of flavors with the lemon, caramel, and white chocolate, but it was a little off for me. My least favorite in this box.
Vivra Chocolate Peanut Butter and Pretzel Bar, 3 oz. - Value $6.00
I mean, in all honesty, is there any better combination than pretzels, peanut butter, and chocolate?! In my humble opinion, there is not! Mmm, this is was such a delicious treat filled with all of my favorite things. Not only did the chocolate have peanut butter mixed in with it, but it also has a peanut crunch in it too.
Raaka Virgin Chocolate Strawberry Basil, 1.8 oz. - Value $7.95? (Price based on similar product)
Whoa, when I saw the flavor of this bar, I was so excited because those are two of my all time favorite flavors. Unfortunately, I don’t like super dark, bitter chocolate which is what this is made of. If you like that super pure, bitter chocolate, you will like this bar. I will keep this on hand for guests to have when enjoying a glass of wine because my friends do like this type of chocolate.
Mayana Chocolate Kitchen Sink Bar Mini, 1.75 oz. - Value $4.00 (Buy a box of 12 for $48)
Wow, this is one thick bar of chocolate! When they say “kitchen sink” they weren’t lying. This mini is filled with peanut butter, pretzel, crispy rice, fleur de sel caramel, and is made of 66% dark chocolate. The caramel in this is really mild and definitely has a minor floral taste to it.
Wild Ophelia Jet Black Cold Brew Chocolate Coffee Bites, 1.39 oz. - Value $2.49
I love coffee! I was a little worried that this was going to be super bitter and I don’t like bitter chocolate as we have established, but I also don’t like bitter coffee. BUT, lucky for me, this wasn’t bitter it was just tasty! It has a very strong coffee taste, but only in the best possible way. You get 4 little squares to savor and enjoy.
Verdict: I think something was happening in the universe last week because I don’t typically crave chocolate, I am more of a baked goods person, but last week I was craving chocolate so much and then lo and behold I get this box. Lucky day! I am not a huge chocolate candy person, but all of these gourmet chocolates were such a delightful treat. I can’t wait to savor all of these (in small doses) for weeks to come. The overall cost of this box is $35 plus $16 shipping to Pennsylvania since it is summertime. The value of this box is $31.60. So while the cost of this box is higher than the value, you also have to take into account the fact that most of these chocolates aren’t something you can just buy in your local grocery store.
