I purchased the 3 mos sub deal July 15th so I was hoping to be able to pick my August blush as stated. I logged in to my account for surveys completed my Doucce survey for July’s blush but there wasn’t an option to choose my blush shade for August at that time. I kept checking back and finally this was the response.

AUGUST Doucce blush selection.

This survey is not excepting additional responses at this time.

To be honest it’s just as well cuz I would have probably chosen the vintage mauve just for a bigger variation from July’s peachy pink shade and I’m so pale it may have been to dark anyway. So I’m happy with the pink one. 🙂

I love Doucce…and their Customer Service is through the roof. Consider me a huge fan, parabens or not…

I always get the same colors in all my subscriptions, and its not one I wear. It is great to have a choice.

Does anyone know if this is a bonus item next box, or a spoiler on one of our items?

I have a question about this blush. How do we know it was made in PRC aka China? I looked on their website/on the web and couldn’t find that information. Is it on the product/packaging itself?

Reply ButtonReply

Bridget

Yes on the outer package

I think I picked the mauve. The pink seemed too PINK. Especially in light of Sunset Beach. But I’m pretty fair, so any of those colours would probably work OK.

However, the more revealed about Doucce though is turning me off 😐 Not cool.

I discovered the shadow survey in my GB account with the other product surveys BEFORE I got the email alerting me. I really hate not being able to see &/or change my selection.

It tells me “You have no surveys yet, please come back later.” is it because I am a new subscriber.

Did your survey ever show up? Mine still han’t. Is anyone else having this issue? Glosybox told me this option closes on July 24th. Two days from now and I still don’t have the survey!

Mary Beth

Mine showed up and I did the 3 months for 30 deal. They sent me an email.

KimberlyB

I got that message too, and I’m assuming it’s because I just subscribed on Monday, so I’m going to try again in a few days.

Michelle

Mine went up for trade with the palette so I don’t care what they send. I picked the purple and yellow box which I didn’t get so not picking this as it will get swapped as well.

michelle

Pink beach because I’m too fair for the darker color.

Am I the only one whose July box hasn’t shipped yet? What gives!?!? :/

Anyway, thanks for posting this. I was able to choose my blush shade for the August box – Vintage Mauve.

Did everyone get the same shade in the July box (Summer Sunset)? I wanted something a little different for the 2nd shade, so I’m hoping I didn’t mess up by going with the darker shade.

Ana

My box just shipped yesterday…
How are you able to pick a shade for August? I had 4 surveys which I took and I don’t see anything about picking a shade anywhere.
Help lol

I think everyone was supposed to get Summer Sunset (I did)…that’s the same reason I went with the darker shade even though I’m pretty light skinned. The Doucce website said the blushes are sheer but buildable so I’m hoping it’s not too dark and I can blend it out nicely. I just didn’t want another bright, light color….

michelle

nope, mine hasn’t shipped yet…

More about the brand:

Do Doucce products contain any animal products?

We are continually evaluating alternatives to animal-derived ingredients and have replaced many ingredients with vegetable derived substitutes. However, certain Doucce products may contain animal derivatives, such as lanolin. If you would like further information as to which Doucce products contain animal derivatives please contact customer care and we will provide that information.

Why do some Doucce products include parabens?

Doucce has made it it’s mission to eliminate parabens from most of its products. That being said, it is important to use preservatives to prevent bacterial and fungal contamination. With the high level of natural ingredients in our formulations, the absence of preservatives would require our products to be refrigerated and would need to be used within approximately two weeks after production. Additionally, we strive to ensure our products do not present any health risk from contamination by harmful microorganisms by using preservatives such as parabens.

Parabens have been used for over 70 years and are approved by the US FDA for use in a wide variety of consumer products, including foods and beverages. Parabens provide a critical role in frontline defense for preventing disease and infection in humans by preventing fungal and bacterial contamination, and are recognized as safe by the World Health Organization as well as government agencies around the world. In the United States, the Cosmetic Ingredient Review (CIR) expert panel (an independent body of internationally recognized medical and scientific experts in safety evaluation) has reviewed parabens and concluded that they are safe for use in cosmetic products. All our products are allergy tested and dermatologist tested.

*sigh*

they have parabens in their products.

I don’t even wear blush!

They need to stop with this brand. Made in PRC. Ingredients list pretty horrifying.

Thanks for telling us. I am especially interested after the Justice thing. Asbestos is no joke.

Reply ButtonReply

vanessa

ASBESTOS?!?!???? 😮

Nana

Agreed. Just a few days ago it came out that the talc used in the blush sold by Justice contains asbestos! Of course, it was made in China.

Wish they had a better description of the colors. I’m hoping Vintage is a shimmer shade. The one we got was chalky and hard for me to blend.

I also want to redeem my glossydots but can’t figure out how. I’ve emailed 2x but they respond without answering my question. After this month’s box I regret not using them last month. I loved that bang beauty lip cream.

Mine says there are no available surveys

Makenzie

I wonder if we’ll actually get the color we pick, since most of us didn’t get the color box we picked for July..

Reply ButtonReply

Brenda

I completely agree with you and they rarely respond to questions unless 1-4 weeks have passed.

Reply ButtonReply

Vlasta

That was exactly my thought! Why does GB waste our time giving us options that they don’t honor? Didn’t get the box I wanted (I opted for blue & green, but got blue & red); hopefully I get the blush I want!

Reply ButtonReply

nancyisshopping

My thoughts exactly. Choosing a box colour did not work for many of us so I don’t have much faith that choosing a blush colour will work either.

Constance

I received a pink in the July box and I chose another pink. I’m too light skinned for mauve. Happy camper! Thanks!

I can’t even log into my account.

I had the same problem using chrome. I tried with firefox and it worked.

Victoria

Does anyone know how to redeem glossy dots? My account states it needs to be an active account but mine is active.

Reply ButtonReply

Melissa

You have to call it in. I had to look threw questions and answers to find out. You can call it in either when your on your last box, before resubscribing.
Or
If there is a month you really like you can call and get a repeat box of that month.
They can not be used on limited addition boxes though.

Victoria

Thanks so much! It isn’t clear on the site.

Jessica

Is the price an up front or monthly for the glossybox 3 month deal?

Reply ButtonReply

MOI

$30 up front

Bria

Sorry, I’m new to glossy box and can’t find where to pick the blush. Help! Thank you!

Reply ButtonReply

Melissa

Did u receive a July box? If so u should qualify. When logged in it is in the section for glossydots. Hope that helps.

Reply ButtonReply

Ankareeda

It’s under the surveys section of your account. The spot you usually get surveys for glossy dot credits.

Reply ButtonReply

Nelliebelle1197

I am subscriber number 80 to glossybox and I cannot either!

Reply ButtonReply

Kristin

I don’t have an option for the blush color and never got the option to chose my box style for July either.

Rae

I found it! You have to go into your Glossydots product surveys, it’ll show as an available survey worth 0 dots.

Melissa

Thanks Liz. 🤗
I got the vintage mauve…hoping it’s not too deep.
