Each month is themed. June’s theme is “The Switcheroo”. On the back of the theme card, the products that are in your parcel are listed with a little description. The back also notes the value of each product. The value of this month is $105!
Dancy’s Floral Bow Tie – Listed Value $45
I really like the print on this bow tie! It’s perfect for an August wedding I have coming up – I plan to pair with a cream button up, purple suspenders, and a blue chino. I also really appreciate that this is a pre-tied bowtie, I’ve never been able to tie my own! Dancy’s bow ties seem to run between about $40-$45 (30-35 GBP), so I noted the listed value above.
Dibi Burgundy Knit Tie – Listed Value $48.00
They were out of stock in the tie I was sent, so the tie I linked to is the closest one I found on their site. I absolutely love the deep, rich burgundy color on this modern, square-knit tie. It’ll be perfect for a country-esque barn wedding I have in October! I’ll most likely pair it with dark jeans, burgundy suspenders, and a cream button-up top.
Socks are one of those things you can never have enough of, so I was glad to see to see these in the parcel! A common problem I have with no-show socks is that after a few wears, their elasticity loosens and the sock falls off of your foot when walking. I don’t think I’ll run into that issue here, since the quality of the elastic and fabric are pretty good quality.
I was sent a sample size (1.7 oz), but the link provided above is for the full size. This soap smells so good–it has hints of almond, vanilla, and honey, which are all soothing to me. I’m excited to test this out!
Verdict: This was my first time receiving Menswear Club, and I enjoyed it! I think the parcel did a great job of representing different types of accessories while keeping with a theme. I look forward to seeing what’s in the boxes to come.
