This box comes with a mini booklet detailing all the items included:
Now, on to the items!
Smith & Cult B Line Eye Pen – Value $26
I’m a fan of Smith & Cult beauty products (their mascara is great), so I had high hopes for this eyeliner. Sadly, it really didn’t deliver the pigment I was expecting.
Here it is swatched:
I had to double check to make sure this was indeed their black shade – and it is! If you are looking for a toned down (gray) eyeliner, this would work, but if you’re expecting a deep black eyeliner, this is lacking.
(On a positive note, it did not budge once it dried.)
Lumiere Doree Hand Cream – Value $23
This fragrant hand cream is hydrating and absorbs surprisingly quickly! The scent is described as “an energizing shower of light filtered through the branches of an orange tree.” To me, it smells a little earthy and grassy. (Mintd also sent the body wash version of this scent in the May 2017 Mintd box.)
Rosalena Goodness & Tonic Face Mist – Value $29
This is officially my favorite face mist of all time – it smells SO good! The formula is made with all natural and organic ingredients and the scent comes from sweet orange peel oil and grapefruit oil. The mist is fine enough to help set makeup, and it’s just a lovely pick-me-up spray to use anytime throughout the day!
This moisturizer is super light – no worries about a greasy finish some sunscreens can leave behind. It offers SPF 33, and I love that there is no discernable scent besides the subtle sunscreen smell. It’s a perfect formula for pre-makeup.
Stephie Ann Sleep Mask – Value $33
This eye mask is silk, slightly padded, and scented with lavender. Most sleeping masks I try are a bit too tight on my head, but this one fits comfortably. (And it is just so pretty!)
Aurelia Probiotic Skincare Miracle Cleanser (30ml/ 1fl.oz.) $15
This cleanser is designed to be used pre-water. It did a great job of removing makeup, oil, dirt, etc. I massaged it into my skin, then used warm water on the cloth and removed the cleanser. It was very gentle, and the scent was subtle – I can’t complain!
Cleanse by Lauren Napier – Value $10
This bag includes 5 individually wrapped facial wipes. The towelettes were refreshing and did a great job of removing makeup, but I can’t see myself ever paying $2 per facial wipe!
Verdict: This box has a value of about $182. I paid about $83, so I’m happy with that value for full sized, luxe beauty items. Aside from the Smith & Cult eyeliner fail, this was a fab box, too. If you are looking for a quality beauty box, I can’t recommend this one enough – I feel like I’m getting the best of the best each month.
