This is my first Ellie box, and I’m so excited! I love exploring fitness clothing subscriptions, so I can’t wait to get to know what this shiny, shimmering box has to offer.
Here’s a list of everything I got in my box this month. Note that not all Ellie subscribers will get the same items, so you might get something slightly different!
There’s so much pretty, shiny packaging in this Ellie box! I love it!
Set of 5 Hair Ties by Zobha – Value $5.00?
Unfortunately, my hair is currently too short to get much use out of these adorable hair ties, but I’m growing it out—maybe soon I’ll be able to sport these pretty patterns! They’re super cute, soft, and stretchy. I couldn’t find these online, so I guessed at the value here.
Bally Total Fitness Expandable Waist Pack – Value $21.37?
I couldn’t find this Bally brand waist pack online, so I linked to a similar item to give an idea of value. This pack buckles in the back and has adjustable, stretchy straps. It’s big enough to squeeze my 6-plus phone inside, plus a small set of keys or a flat wallet. I love these kinds of waist packs, especially since I don’t trust the tiny pockets that come in some leggings to securely hold my precious house key on a run.
Bally’s Mesh Running Hat – Value $22.00?
This product was also hard to find online, so I linked to a similar style. I’m not one for hats in the aesthetic sense, but I could see wearing this on a long, sunny hike where I want to shield my easily sunburned face. It’s adjustable in the back and has mesh panels that allow for airflow (key on hot summer days).
Marika Amy Sports Bra in Navy – Value $18.95
This bra is a bit on the tight side for me (I’m a 36B, and this is a medium). But I love the strappy back design and the peaceful, versatile navy color. I have a few breezy open-backed t-shirts that I like wearing in the summer, and I feel like this bra is perfect for pairing with those looks.
Marika Energy Halter Top in Black Iris – Value $19.95
This top doesn’t fit me quite how I’d like it to (the mesh section at the top slouches a little, rather than laying nicely against my neckline), but it’s the perfect top for throwing on after a yoga sesh for the walk home. The fabric is stretchy and light, and the deep blue color is right up my alley. I love how these pieces all pair together so nicely!
Manduka Capri Leggings – Value $19.97?
I couldn’t find these specific leggings online, but similar styles from Marika run around $20.00 (including the pair linked above). These leggings are cool—I like the pattern a lot, and the mesh details are awesome. I will say that the lower, perforated mesh sections fit a little awkwardly against my calves, but not so much that they were distracting to wear. These fit really nicely through the hips (I wear a size 10 in jeans, and these were a size large), and even though I don’t typically like capris, I am happy to have this breezy style in my closet.
Verdict: This box is so fun! I got about $107.00 of products inside this $49.95 box, which is a pretty solid deal. I liked the style of most of these pieces, and if not, I at least find them really functional. I liked the fun patterns and the colorful, unique details (they’re playful, but not immature), too.
