Bullymake Box is a monthly subscription box for power chewers. You all have heard about (and seen) some of Nyx’s exploits with plush toys from dog subscription boxes so when I heard about this one, I had to sign up immediately. Nyx is definitely a power chewer! You pick your dog’s weight in 10-pound increments so this is a box for an 80-pound dog (Nyx weighs about 86 right now; she has changed weight in the past few months due to medication issues).
My Subscription Addiction paid for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)
This review is of the Toys-only, 80-pound, $39 a month, box.
The Subscription Box: Bullymake Box
The Cost: $39 a month (save with 3, 6, and 12-month subscriptions)
The Products: Toys and treats specifically tailored for heavy chewing dogs (no plushes). You can also choose a “toys only” box. Because of Nyx’s dietary issues, I went with the “toys only” box. You can also enter specific allergy information in a box on the checkout screen.
Ships to: USA (free!) and Canada for $8
Good to know: if you want a toys-only box, you must select that during sign-up. Otherwise, you will get the default box, which does include some treats.

Keep Track of Your Subscriptions: Add this box to your subscription list or wishlist!
Not all boxes are the same due to the fact that you can choose your dog’s size in 10 pound increments, choose a toys-only box, etc., but there is usually an information card highlighting an item or two from the box.
Mammoth Flossy Chews Large 14” Color Rope Bone – Value $5.27
We get a lot of rope toys with Bullymake Box. But, Nyx likes them. This one is better for chewing than for tugging because of the short length. I appreciate that it is size-appropriate for an adult Rottweiler!
American Dog “Da Bone” – Value $20.95
One thing I love about Bullymake Box is that you will never get plush toys. This has the look of a plush toy but it is actually stuffing free. So far, Nyx has not managed to destroy it, either. Granted, she’s only had it for about two days. But anything longer than five minutes is good in my book. (This didn’t have a clear size marking but I am assuming based on the measurements that I received a “large” toy and have valued it accordingly.)
Star Chew – Value $18
This is nylon and has little bumps on it for texture. Nyx thought it was pretty awesome; you can see some pictures of her with it below. This is a Bullymake-branded toy; they’ve been including more of these lately, usually flavored nylon chews (this one is allegedly mint-flavored), and they’ve all been good quality so far.
Stripes Ball – Value $18
This month’s box had a July 4th theme (even though Bullymake Box doesn’t typically ship until mid-month). So we have some stripes to go with the star! This is meant to hold a treat and I do actually have a handful of treats with very limited ingredients that Nyx can tolerate now so we are able to use this as intended, which is a first for us.
Here is Nyx enjoying the star toy. She has totally been into nylon toys lately and this one held up pretty well.
Verdict: I calculated a value of $62.22 for the July 2017 Bullymake Box. That’s a great value for a $40 dog box. Even if you think some of the values are inflated, you’re still getting 4 durable dog toys (or toys and treats, depending on which box option you choose) for about $10 each. Nyx enjoyed everything this month, too (to be fair, she is easy to please)!
What do you think of the July 2017 Bullymake Box? Do you subscribe to any dog or cat boxes?
