I have 3 allure subs. One of them is a newer one (around Christmas I think) I recieved 2 gifts not three. One sub sent me the mascara and eyeliner, the other the two lipglosses. I was pretty WOWED by the freebies! I would assume the longtime customer base is why certain people recieved these and certain didn’t? My email is so backed up it was a total surprise for me as I had zero clue they were even coming! I a\say a HUGE THANKS to Marc Jacobs and Allure!

Has anyone used the mascara yet? I’m dying to try it, but have several open tubes now, I need to get some used before I open this one to try, but if it’s FANTASTIC I can give my kids my full tubes I have now! 😘

I just called custromer service to ask and they said it was for subscribers of 16 boxes or more. FYI

I have been a subscriber for a year+ and have never received a free gift from allure…I didn’t even know they existed until seeing this post and others comments about receiving ones in the past. Why do I never get chosen for these things????

Marie

I had to check my junk email folder. I have no idea why when the other emails from allure come through fine. I ended up finding the “hope you’re enjoying your gift” email and was like yeah right, but actually got the package today.

I got my email at the beginning of the month and my lip glosses today. I didn’t expect them to be full size!! That’s a $56 gift!

I thought I wouldn’t like the colors, because they look neutral and I prefer reds and pinks, but they are absolutely stunning and the formula is wonderful

Such a fabulous and generous gift!!

(I got Allow Me and Moonglow)

I got mine today and I am truly #Enamored, the colors are perfect for me, the gloss has a minty taste and it goes on creamy and smooth, many thanks to Allure, love them!

Julie

Received my glosses yesterday after several emails. Rest assured if you got the emails you will get the glosses. Colors are gorgeous!!!!!

Well I got an email saying I would get the mascara and eyeliner if I signed back up for Allure at the end of June plus for 10 for my first box…. I did recieve my June box a few days ago which I was crazy jealous that I didn’t get it because I cancelled a few months ago. I haven’t seen any free gifts that were included in my subscription or the Juky box but I’m sure it will all work out…. June box Rocked…. Thanks Allure.

I received same offer on 6/29 and resubscribed right away. I kept asking about those free gifts in emails and even called once and I was told every time that they are still at the warehouse but they’ll be shipped soon. This morning I’ve got this email:
Please accept our apologies for the missing gift.

We are out of the Marc Jacobs gift, so we are unable to reship it.

! We are so sorry to hear your request to cancel, and we are working hard to perfect our boxes so you are getting the best in beauty each month. Your upcoming boxes will include our favorite picks from brands including:

Tarte
Wander Beauty
Redken
Caudalie
Beautyblender

We would like you to stay and have an AMAZING offer: If you decide to say on with us, your next four boxes are ONLY $12 each! Respond to this email with “4 for $12” and we are sure you will be happy that you stayed!

They are kidding me, right?
Marc Jacobs full size mascara is $26.00 and Gel Eyeliner is $25.00.
That’s $52.00 and they are offering me $12.00 discount instead!
I replied that their offer is unacceptable but I’m not sure if that will do anything.
Not sure who to contact next…

Lol That’s $51 🙂 I’m clearly very upset about this whole ordeal!
Allure CS sucks big time!

Beth L

Lol July.. Opps not Juky….

Julie

I received my glosses today. I also received several emails before receiving them. If you’ve gotten the initial email I would rest assured that you will receive them. I understand the disappointment of not getting any ” appreciation ” gifts after being a loyal subscriber but once again it’s easy to cancel your sub. There are a lot of great boxes out there!!!

I’ve been a loyal Allure box member since December 2014 and have not gotten a single one of their now 4 freebie gifts.

Reply ButtonReply

Paulette

Received email July 5, never received the loyalty gift. Then I got a follow up email on how I liked the lip losses. Been a member for over two years. I did email and ask but no one has gotten back to me. Bummed out

Reply ButtonReply

julie

I was very happy to receive the email for the Marc Jacobs, have yet to receive them but am looking forward. I’m sure with all of the complaints CS is bombarded with they will be issuing other thank you gifts to loyal customers. At the end of the day it’s a$15 a month beauty sub. I’m a firm believer that if something is making you unhappy, get rid of it. Cancelling your sub would be an easy fix.

I didn’t receive lip color but eye liner&mascara instead. It’s nice to get something for being a subscriber for a coupler years now.

I’ve been an Allure subscriber since January on this run. Last month my debit card info got stolen and my payment didn’t go through. I updated immediately with a different card but they didn’t charge me nor send the June box. Disappointing, but okay. I’ll just have to hope the Touche Eclat sample comes around again or in a different box. But now this month they did charge me and are sending the box. But no Marc Jacobs email. I feel burned.

Dayan

Hi, this is just my personal opinion. Hope I’m not offending you in anyway.
If you just subbed with them in Jan, even without the card issue, I don’t think you can be counted as an “loyal” member at all… It’s not even a year yet…
I did have several problems with Allure before, they sure aren’t perfect, but to say you “feel burned” cause you didn’t receive the gratitude, may seem a bit harsh on the company.
Hope they’ll bring back the product you want in the future.

Dawn

I feel your pain…that’s pretty much what happened to me. That stinks. 😕

Mine arrived the other day! The two shades I received were Moonglow & Hey You, will definitely be wearing them both. Thanks to someone posting about the email in another thread last week I was able to search my email and it was there. Thank you Allure ❤️

So, Allure treats some customers to a thank you gift and now everybody is entitled? There are extenuating circumstances and Allure needs to take those into account so that you can get your free gift? That’s not how the real world is supposed to work. Not everybody gets an award, a trophy, whatever. And you know what? Life isn’t fair. It never has been and it never will be.

If you have a sub with Allure and don’t receive a box that has already been paid for, consider yourself entitled to receive that box or a refund.

Reply ButtonReply

Barbara

I’ve been a subscriber for years and I did not receive the Thank you gift…no, they don’t owe me anything…I also don’t owe them my continued support. There are lots of boxes out there and allure is not the only game in town. They could have sent everyone one lip color, them maybe they would have had enough for everyone. Instead…some feel valued and some are left to feel their business is not appreciated.
Yes…life is not fair and I am not entitled to anything I haven’t paid for but that doesn’t make it any less disappointing to be a long time customer and be left out of a Thank you gift.

Dawn

Someone’s salty. Not sure why my experience and frustration with Allure bothers you so much.

Reply ButtonReply

PattyV

I just checked my junk mail and the email was there!!!!! I also received the first email on July 5th and the follow up email on July 11th but no products yet. Thanks MSA for keeping us updated.

Reply ButtonReply

MOI

I received mine a couple days ago.

Moonglow and Pretty thing are the colors. Both on the neutral side. Nice to get a gift, but I’m more into eye products. Still very nice to get a gift and show customer appreciation. Nice job Allure.

I did have problems updating my credit card on Allure myself a few months ago. Called and updated it, because it would NOT go through online.

Then the next month got an email that I had 24 hours to put in a valid card (mine was stolen prior), or I would not receive my box. Called them again and updated it. So let’s not be so hasty to blame those with card issues instead of Allures website. She’s not the only one.

Thanks for the free gift Allure!

Reply ButtonReply

Dawn

Thank you! Again, it definitely seems to be a pattern on the company’s end, not mine. Cool that you got your gift!!

Reply ButtonReply

LB

I subbed in December so July would make 8 months but I haven’t noticed an email or gotten anything. Must have just missed it. Poop. But it’s nice they are rewarding loyalty!!

Reply ButtonReply

Kim R

Haven’t got this email, but I did get the one a few months ago for the eyeliner/mascara gift. I’m assuming since I got that gift I’m done now!

Reply ButtonReply

Sharon

I received mine on Monday. They were beautiful colors, just not for me. I gave them to my daughter.

Reply ButtonReply

Mary

Can you post what colors you receive?

Reply ButtonReply

Sharon

It was Moonglow and Pretty Thing.

Lynn

Hi, I received mine earlier this week and got the same neutrals, Moonglow and Pretty Thing. They are beautiful!

Melissa

I received the email on July 5 stating that I would be getting the gift. On July 11 I received a follow-up email saying that they hope I am enjoying my gift and to be sure to tag them and @MarcBeauty showing how I am wearing the glosses, but they haven’t arrived yet. Hopefully not too much longer! I really hope I get a really bright, vampy, or unique color (no neutrals). I’m very happy they are doing this and that I was chosen for a lip product rather than an eye product, but I am just getting antsy waiting for it to arrive!

Reply ButtonReply

Amy S

Same two emails. I was afraid mine got lost or stolen, it sounded like they expected it had arrived by now. Still no sign of it, I wish they had included tracking.

I was glad to be included this time. I wrote to them last time asking why I didn’t count as a “loyal” subscriber since I had been with them since they were Sample Society through beautybar.com and they said they had no way of accessing records of memberships prior to switching to Allure! So they were only counting my “months” since I made that change.

Reply ButtonReply

Jenn

same here on the emails…still waiting… hope it shows up soon!

Reply ButtonReply

Barbara

I’ve been a long time subscriber and I didn’t receive the email…I checked my spam folder too and it wasn’t there 🙁

Reply ButtonReply

Melissa

It says that they plan to do more in the future, so maybe you will be chosen then! 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

Dawn

Perfect, since my account was suspended for a month due to my card being stolen and not able to billed. So, even though I’ve been a subscriber for almost 2 years, I missed the June box and now likely this, too. I’m not super happy with Allure.

Reply ButtonReply

Jen

I’m on your side Dawn!! I’d be so frustrated!

Reply ButtonReply

Dawn

Thank you! So many people quick to judge when they don’t even have the whole story. I know the hoops I jumped through to ensure I did everything correctly. The only one to blame (besides the person who stole my card) is Allure for the mixup, miscommunication, and website glitches. I seem to remember a lot of these people crying over the Foreo debacle last year. Thr company DOES have a history of making mistakes…

Dawn

Thank you! It’s frustrating when you’ve been a loyal subscriber for a long time. I seem to remember these same people whining about not getting the Foreo last year. I don’t recall me telling them to get over it, or how it wasn’t Allure’s fault when it clearly was at that time, and is this time as well. When you have CSRs tell you one thing and then the opposite happens, that isn’t the customer’s fault; it’s the company’s. When the website has a glitch, it’s not the customer’s fault; it’s the company’s. Some people need to chill with the judgement and blaming when they really don’t know the whole story. ✌🏻

Julia

You should have updated your payment information promptly with another one. Not Allure’s fault.

Reply ButtonReply

CS

I also updated my payment info on the website when my card was stolen- it did not remain updated. There’s a problem with the website- the Allure rep I spoke with said it was for security reasons that I couldn’t update my card. So how bout we quit blaming the customer when it clearly was an Allure website glitch. If it had happened to you you probably wouldn’t be so quick to blame yourself.

Dawn

I did, multiple times on the website and on the phone. It said it was successful but my account was still suspended. Allure couldn’t figure it out and skipped my June box. All the CSRs I spoke to said I would get the June box but I did not. July came on Monday.

JA

I would be unhappy with whoever stole your card but certainly not Allure, who did absolutely nothing wrong. Smh.

Reply ButtonReply

Dawn

Considering the fact that I called Allure three times to make sure I would get the June box since I tried on my end several times to update the card, and it said it was successful. Yes, I can be upset with Allure. Thanks.
