Every nail polish comes off my nails with in 2 hours, no matter the cost or brand!! So I could never pay $40 for 4 of them.

Are you wearing base/top coat? If so, try another brand, body chemistry makes a real difference! If not, get you some. They really do make a difference! I suggest a good quick-dry like Poshe. You only need sit for 5 minutes and you’re good ti go (technically 2, but I like the extra few anyway)

I’ve received a few of the Holo Hookup monthly boxes and I love them. This is a collaboration box from 3 indie polish makers and one polish is from a guest polish maker. I don’t think the price is out of line for the holographic polish. ILNP is at least 10 -12 per polish. Love the July colors and I ordered right away. Honestly since I’ve gotten the Holo Hookup I haven’t worn anything but the polishes I receive.

Thanks for the explanation. The website was a little hard to follow. Hopefully they can clarify the descriptions.

YES!!! Please review this box. I love all things holo, but I use gels, not polish. I still see this box and covert it, though.

Is it just four polishes? A little expensive imo.

These brands are all indie nail polishes that retail for between $11-14 per bottle. They are also all holo (TRUE HOLO) and densely colored which makes them much more expensive to create than a drugstore nail polish (or even Julep). Then you have to pay shipping from the various stockists who sell these. So this is a better value than it seems.

Besides, these are all limited edition colors that are only available through the Holo Hookup.

I have over 200 nail polishes and own all of these brands, and about 60 bottles of Julep. These are all larger and more intensely holographic than any Julep polish or anything from the drugstore. There is a whole indie polish community that would LOVE to see these reviewed, Liz!!!! Preferably by a nail polish addict that “gets” the concept of real holo and the high quality that comes with indie nail polishes.

Oooh I had no idea. I was wondering why these polishes were pricey. People love them. They sound really pretty and pigmented too. 💅🏼

I love nail polish, but am obviously not an expert, because I don’t know the difference between “real holo” and what I’m used to seeing. Can you explain further? I’m curious about what I’m missing.
