Now, on to the items!
Lizush Grapefruit Soap Bar - Value $6
This soap is 100% natural and vegan. It has a relatively short ingredient list, too:
The grapefruit scent is subtle, and this soap bar just smells light, fresh and clean - everything I love about natural soap!
Three Sisters Apothecary Bath Salt Soak in Lemongrass - Value $9.75
This is one of the few times I look up the price of an item, and I'm surprised it isn't higher! I thought this would be at least a $20 item!
The bath salts are made with all natural ingredients and the lemon grass is so fragrant and citrusy.
I like this so much I'm already planning on buying some of their other scents!
Clean Living Collection Flowers and Mud Mask - Value $18
This powder mask is made with clay and organic lavender, chamomile, and calendula flowers. (And I can definitely tell a difference in the scent compared to your standard mud masks.)
To use, you mix with a little water to form a paste, then let dry on your skin (about 7 minutes). They clay is natural, so it isn't all uniform texture, and you get the added benefit of an exfoliant when you wash it off!
Bonjour Jolie Lilac Body Lotion - Value $12
I was expecting this to be similar to a body butter in consistency since it is packaged in a jar, but it's much more like a liquid lotion. (I think it could have been packaged in a tube.)
The formula is vegan and paraben free, and the lotion absorbs quickly (no greasiness). The scent is a sticking point for me, though. I don't know if it's that I just don't like lilac scented products, or the issue is that the scent is from a fragrance oil and not a true lilac essential oil. (I did a little googling and it appears as though a true lilac essential oil doesn't exist?)
So this lotion isn't a win for me.
Verdict: This box has a value of about $46. That's pretty good for a $32.95 natural beauty box that works with smaller brands and etsy makers. I wasn't a fan of the lotion this month, but besides that, every item in this box works for me! And those bath salts were a great discovery!
