Now, on to the items!

John Frieda BEACHBlonde Sea Waves Sea Salt Spray – 1 oz Value $3

Whenever I see the word “Blonde” on a product I’m extra careful to read the ingredients and see if it can work for me. (My middle school days involved Sun In, which turned my brown hair a lovely shade of orange 😉 )

But! The description on the label calls out that this is safe to use for brunettes, too.

The formula smells light and beachy, it adds texture, and it helped make my Beach Waver curls look a little more tousled!

Sinful Colors Nail Polish in Island Coral – FULL SIZE! Value $2

(Colors will vary.)

This coral shade is a high-shine creme.

Here it is on:

That’s full coverage in two coats. Pretty quick dry time, too!

Hawaiian Tropic Island Sport Ultra Light SPF 30 – 2 oz Value $2.25

This sunscreen is super lightweight and non-greasy, too. The scent itself is light too – faint and tropical! The only downside for me is that there are a few parabens in the ingredient list. (I try to avoid those when I can.)

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Moist – 50 ml Value $.65

This is a 3-minute conditioner that provides extra moisture compared to your standard conditioner. I liked the scent, and it left my hair feeling softer. (I probably could have used more and gotten more impressive results, but I’m always worried about overdoing it with these types of products and getting greasy hair for the day!)

NYX Gotcha Covered Concealer in Medium – FULL SIZE! Value $6

I’m pretty impressed with this concealer! The formula reminds me of the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye Concealer. It provides full-coverage, with an almost tacky finish. (Top it with foundation and/or setting powder.)

Here it is swatched:

It held up all day under my eyes, too. (But if you are looking for a lightweight concealer – this isn’t it!)

Schick Hydro Silk Razor – Value $6

(The version of this razor with an additional blade retails for $9.99)

This item alone practically covers the cost of the box!

This razor comes with one removable blade:

I prefer Schick Intuition razor blades, but this is good to keep around as a backup!

Masque Bar Soothing Sheet Mask – Value $3.49

This mask has a subtle fragrance, and it lived up to its soothing name. You’re supposed to leave in on for 20-30 minutes. I called it at 15 and was still happy with the results. My skin felt very hydrated after using it!

Verdict: This box has a value of about $24. I think that’s great for a $7 beauty box. The NYX concealer was a great product discovery for me, too. I love that they included the full-size version!

  1. How do you know beforehand what will be in the box? I ordered the September box and have no clue what comes in it

  2. I’m sad to say this box was not as much as hit for me as everyone else 🙁 I should have passed on it but the excitement overtook me and I went for it anyway. The nail polish I received as a watery pale coral, I’m not sure if it’s what you all are talking about but I didn’t like it. I’m very pale so any concealer or foundation is always very dark. The other stuff is good but it wasn’t the best win for me with those products not working out :O I should have passed on it this time. My fault.

  3. This entire box was a hit with me. Loved the polish, mask, and salt spray (my hair is really wavy and it looked great without much work at all. I can always use a nice new razor, but he concealer was the best!!! I was shocked at how great it worked on my skin and how little I had to use to get the job done and at a low price!!! Thanks Target for hitting it out of the park with this box.

  4. The concealer was too dark for me so I brought it into Target and asked to exchange it for a lighter shade. They said sure and gave me a gift card for $6.35. I went to find the product and all the lighter shades were sold out so… the Beauty Box ended up costing me 40 cents. I love a bargain!

  5. Wow, where was i? i like this box. I probably wouldnt use the concealer and maybe the mask.
I wonder if they will be on sale, i would purchase.
Sorry i missed it. I love coral polish

    • I don’t think it will be going on sale. It’s sold out already.

  6. I got the coral color polish, and was surprised how much I liked it

  7. That is such a pretty coral shade! I wonder if I ordered I would get that & not a blue or green, etc.?

    • Sinful polish is only $1.99 if it’s not on sale, and Walgreens sometimes puts it on sale for .99. Why not just go buy the coral shade? They have tons of colors, so I bet you come out with more than just that coral. If you’re using a neon, though, you’ll need a shiny top/clear coat over it. Sinful tends to dry quickly yet on the flat side, with that magic marker type look.

      • Thanks for the tip. I don’t know about this polish and what a price. And i just got rid of a bunch of years old polish. Not intending to build it back up. But you know how that goes.

  8. This was a good target box for me. The concealer is good since I have a deep/dark undertone. I will have to try the mask though.

  9. …this box was a winner for me!

i agree about that concealer–it is quite good, indeed!

i was sure that “medium” was going to be w-a-y too dark, i was happily mistaken!

    great box for june!

  10. I loved my box!! I got the same nail color and can’t wait to wear it!! My husband LOVED his men’s Target box too.

    • I got both boxes, too. Only one arrived today, but I don’t if it’s mine or the father’s day edition. Is there a way to tell them apart without opening them?

  11. The concealer was too dark for me, so I blended in a bit of my too light Bye Bye Under Eye- and came up with the perfect color! It’s a fairly thick consistency and was pleasantly surprised when at the end of the day- it still looked pretty good. Very little setting in the fine lines and still covering my dark circles.
One of my fave Target boxes lately!

  12. This is my first target box in a while, since the others just didn’t work for me. I love it!!

  13. My box came with 2 masks and no concealer.

    • Be sure to get in touch with customer service via chat or phone. You should get a partial or full refund!

  14. I got a light blue polish that I haven’t tried yet. The concealer is too dark for my pale skin so I’m trying to figure out another way to use it.

    • Someone on the announcement thread for this box, mentioned using the concealer as an eyeshadow base. I rarely use eyeshadow, but did use this on my eyelids alone. It worked well for me because I didn’t care that it was darker and my eyeliner held up with it. It smoothed out the skin tone for me. I am planning on trying the lighter version of this because I did like it. A tiny bit covered up quite a bit, and I imagine the tube will last a long time.

  15. Love that nail polish!
