One of the first thing you will notice is this super helpful information card that tells you the month of your box on the front and on the back lists out every product name and value of the items in your box.
Another nice-to-have item in the box is this burlap sack, ya know for all your snacks! Get it...Snack. Sack.
Barney Butter Almond Butter On-The-Go, 3- 0.6 oz. packets - Total Value $2.45 (buy a box of 24 for $19.63 on Amazon)
Admission time, I have never had almond butter before this box. I know, I know, that’s a little weird, but I just never committed to it. Now that I have tried it though, I may never go back to peanut butter. So tasty! I have nothing to compare this particular brand to, but this is very very good. Bonus, you get 3 of these convenient little packets.
Fusion Gourmet Chocolate Wafer Bites, 2- 0.7 oz. bags - Total Value $1.50 listed value (buy a case of 24 bags for $17.95)
These little wafer bites are light, flavorful, and filled with a tasty chocolate filling. These little .7 oz packets are only 100 calories. Such a great snack to have with your afternoon coffee fix!
Brothers All Natural Freeze Dried Fuji Apples, 0.35 oz. - $0.83 (buy a box of 6 for $4.98)
Another confession here, I have never had freeze dried fruit. That’s probably not as strange as the almond butter debacle, but still a little weird. These were good, but I don’t think I am a fan of freeze dried fruit in general. These do taste like real apples….I know they are, but they taste like it too!
Dick & Jane English & Spanish Cookies, 1 oz. - Value $0.67 (buy a box of 30 bags for $19.99 on Amazon)
These cute cookies not only taste good, but they will teach you (or your child) something valuable in each bag. This one, for instance, will teach you English and/or Spanish. These have a light, shortbread type taste and consistency.
Bitsy’s Brainfood Smart Crackers, 1 oz. - Value $0.80 (buy a 5 oz. box for $3.99)
These Sweet Potato Cinna-Graham crackers are crazy good! You can taste the sweet potato, but it’s also very cinnamon tasting as well. It basically tastes like my favorite Thanksgiving side dish. They also come in different sized pieces so that you can make shapes out of them. These are clearly for children, but tasty enough for adults too!
Beanitos Mac n’ Cheese Crunch, 1 oz. - Value $0.35 (buy a 7 0z. bag for $2.66 on Amazon)
Wow! These white bean baked snacks are so incredibly tasty. If you like classic cheese puffs, you will like these. Bonus though, these are gluten-free, vegetarian, and non-GMO. If I had children, I would definitely feel comfortable giving these to them as a snack. Additionally, you will find a $1.00 off coupon for these tasty snacks!
Our Little Rebellion Carnival Kettle Popcorners, 1 oz. - $0.72 (buy a box of 40 for $28.78 on Amazon)
These kettle corn chips are really good and definitely taste just as described. It’s one of those things where you are not sure what you are eating because it doesn’t taste how you think it should...it’s better! These are all-natural and gluten-free.
Mediterra Peppers & Olives Savory Bar, 1.23 oz. - Value $1.81
The consistency of these bars is very much like a granola bar, but it’s not. This is a savory bar that definitely tastes of olive and Mediterranean spices. I really like Mediterranean food generally, but this bar was a little weird for me. These are once again all natural and gluten free.
Primal Kitchen Coconut Cashew Bar, 1.7 oz. - Value $2.39
First thing’s first, I don’t like coconut. I was already going into trying these with that in mind, but overall this bar was pretty good. It’s really really dense and sticky. I don’t know if that’s quite the word I want to use, but it’s something you have to bite into, not break apart into pieces. It’s hard to do! I did like this bar though because it was slightly sweet, not a strong coconut taste, but definitely a present flavor. I would like to try other flavors and if you would too, good news there is a buy one get one free coupon in this box.
Cookie Chips Cinnamon Sugar Cookie Chips, 2 oz. - Value $1.31 (buy a 6 oz. bag for $3.93)
If you like snickerdoodles, you will like these cookies. These are very light and coated in a cinnamon sugar mix. I like that these are made with pure cane sugar, rBST hormone free butter and cage free eggs! Yay, another coupon for $1.00 off a bag of these.
Pearls Olives Black Pitted Olives, 1.25 oz. - Value $0.87 (buy a box of 4 for $3.47)
I am a big fan of olives! I have had these olives before in fact and so I know I already like them. I do really like this little package of about 10 olives because they do make for a nice snack. I would probably not eat these alone, but with some cheese and crackers.
Love Grown On-the-Go Hot Oats, 2.22 oz. - Value $2.05 (buy an 8-count for $16.37)
This oatmeal was really good! I am not a fan of fruit in my oatmeal, but the taste was very good. It’s gluten-free and non-GMO. This does taste similar to most other oatmeals I’ve had, but it’s good to know that this is a slightly healthier option. You will also find a coupon for $1.00 off any hot or cold cereal enclosed in the box.
Verdict: The value of this box is $15.75, which is below the $22 cost (including free shipping), and on par with previous months. I definitely think that this box is worth a try. There were so many really delicious and unique snacks included. My faves were the almond butter, English & Spanish cookies, and the Beanitos crunch. All in all very good and worth the cost (make sure to use our MSA25 coupon to save 25% off your first box)!
