Play! By Sephora June 2017 Box #075 + #091 FULL SPOILERS!

So I was an 075 and got the lippie in Lovesick. It’s nice, but nothing special. I had such envy over the people who hot K-Dub. I bought one of the K-Dub samples on Ebay for 4 bucks. Girls…it’s the perfect shade for a hot summer day when you don’t want to do much but you want to still look pretty. I can put my hair up, put on sunnies, and swipe this on to drive around and do errands. I’m tan already but if I wasn’t, I’d probably want to add some bronzer or blush. A strong brow look helps too. It brightens up an easy summer look, doesn’t wear off easily, and travels well (no melting).

I bet Sephora has gotten more returns, emails, calls , complaints about this month’s box than they have ever received. Hopefully it is a opportunity for them to make play better.If not I can cancel and spend my 120 $ on something I actually wanted to try.

I didn’t check to see which box I was getting and was very disappointed.. I got box 091 I’ll probably only use 1 product out of the box as I have from the past 6 Sephora boxes I’ve gotten😐 Is it me or does it seem that the products are a after thought

I got box #083 and would looove to trade for the verb sea spray and lovesick. Kdub is pretty but not with my skin tone. Also I can’t believe they sent out a face self tanner sheet as a sample. I’m so mad.

Does anyone want to swap box 075 for 042? Never been opened.

Ugh! Lip products are my favorite especially bright lip colors. A play box finally has a bright lip color like k-dubs!!

Plus no more porefessional, I am tired of giving those away they must have overload of that product and trying to unload it, birchbox is getting better

I just want to update my post. I received box 091 and said it was a mix for me. Honestly it isn’t so bad. Yes I got two hair things but I have no problem using both. One is for fine hair which is exactly what I have, the other is for curls hair and I don’t have curly hair but I do have wavy so it still works. The two dog items I got are actual different, one is a primer or well can be used as one while the other is a tinted moisturizer and my skin is a light to medium so it’s workable. One thing I’ve learned is that with makeup and such you can make a lot of things work. I’m not mad at my box and I am paying only $10 a month for it, yes it’s hard earned money to some but not one item in my box would cost that $10 dollars. I’ve looked on lots of web pages a deluxe sample is around $12 dollars and I just got six of them, well five cause perfume not sure what would be deluxe there. I’m happy and I’m willing to give each product a fair try because maybe I will be surprised and it may become my next holy grail item. I love having duplicate samples because then I can give them a true evaluation. I’m not some young kid, I’m a grandma already just enjoying the opportunity to try these products. I got box #75…so happy. I would have not liked the other boxes. But I always find a way to either “try” the items that I know I would not use, or gift them. The items you don’t use make great little presents to give to girlfriends, co-workers, etc 🙂

I am so disappointed in this box. I would’ve been okay if I had at least gotten kdub instead of love sick. I tried to give it a chance. One swatch and I don’t know how they thought that would be a match. I would’ve loved kdub, a brighter color that I can work with instead of a color that I can’t work with my skin tone.

How do you all know what number box you are getting?

I received Box 75, which I am in love with. Not a fan of the Versace (which I seem to always get the “wrong” perfume for my tastes and covet others), but I always see the perfume as a bonus. Something to keep in my purse in a pinch.

I really just wanted to point out how large these samples are for the hair care — they seem massive to me! I really don’t get some of the complaints. I opened my bag before looking at spoilers, and this was the first PLAY I have received in a long time where I was really surprised by the weight of the product! I feel like I got my money’s worth for sure and they stepped up their game.

I got 091 and definitely willing to trade anyone anything in it 😢

I’m getting 042, which will pretty much be useless to me. I would really love to get 059 instead. Oh well! I’m thinking this will be my last box. I’ll just take the $120 and just buy myself stuff I actually like throughout the year. This will be my third month and I’ve been pretty underwhelmed. It was fun, but just not really working for me. The idea is great though!

Lmao – Porefessional AGAIN?!? Centuries from now when civilizations are rebuilding after a worldwide catastrophe, they will be finding tubes upon tubes of Porefessional.
I feel like the IGK brand is a joke, like they are making fun of us for falling for targeted branding? I will try it, maybe I will be pleasantly surprised.
Not interested in the Black Opium. I don’t remember – did we get to choose a preferred scent in the profile – citrus, floral, woodsy, spicy, etc?
I actually like Kat Von D liquid lip, I have another shade that I got as a point perk. KDub looks like a really fun color but it doesn’t really work for my skin tone and can’t see myself using it.
Sick of getting primers, let alone 2 in one box, but the First Aid one I at least feel neutral towards..
And last but not least, kinda looking fwd to the Ouai spray

Sephora, I don’t get it! I just don’t get it! Why 6 different boxes?

Why make so many box variations in 1 month?

Why would you send out the Coola and Supergoop setting sprays to some while some of us will be getting tinted moisturizer? I don’t want the Tarte guard , I can go in the store and get a sample o f that and get my sample color matched? Why cant we all just get setting spray?

Why so many variations in skin products? Why do some get moisturizer while some get primer?

Why are there so many different perfumes? 5 different perfumes?
