Nestify is a monthly subscription box of designer-curated home decor.
With each box, Nestify promises products "selected with purpose and intent and crafted by skilled artisans from around the world, or around the block, using only top-quality materials." They also include a "mood board" to give you a glimpse into the theme and inspiration behind the items.
This month marks the final official Nestify box, as the subscription is "graduating" into a more sophisticated, quarterly subscription called Loom + Linen. The new focus will be on fine textiles and tabletop products, but still with a global flair. According to this letter, the company is eager to provide better value to its customers and explore exciting new partnerships with artisans from around the world.

Nestify boxes always center around a theme, and this month, the theme is "Indigo Summer." I was just thinking the other day about how my living room, in particular, was lacking in blue tones, so these deep, grounding, indigo shades couldn't come at a better time for me!
Japanese Bowl - Value $12.00?
This small bowl is probably no more than six inches in diameter, but it has a nice depth to it that's perfect for little salads, a bowl of fruit salad, a side of fluffy rice, or for storing things to nibble on in front of the TV.
The bottom of the bowl does note that it was indeed made in Japan. That lends some authenticity to the "global" nature of the items in the box, which I really appreciate! Items from this specific studio were difficult to find online, so I linked to something similar to give an idea of value.
The inside is my favorite part. The indigo color really lights up thanks to the glossy finish of the bowl. The gorgeous sapphire designs of this bowl are too pretty to shut in a cabinet—maybe I'll put it to use as a coffee-table candy dish or catch-all bowl on a side table.
Dyed Tea Towel by TheCuriousCacti - Value $15.99
Not everything in this subscription comes with a label, so I love that this towel has the company's name and its site listed right on the packaging. Not only does that help me get an accurate idea of the value of a product, but I think it's so fun to discover a cool new company or shop. I'm loving this Etsy store—they sell some other awesome dyed products, plus a slew of amazing mid-century candlesticks and decor. Bookmarked!
This cotton towel is perfect for doing dishes, even though it seems almost too pretty for something so mundane. I will say it provides a beautiful pop of color to my kitchen as it hangs next to my sink! It has a sturdy, slightly linen-like texture to it—it's not ultra-soft, but in that, it's a bit tougher and ready to be as functional as it is fun to look at. I really like how the deep indigo colors fade into a blue-ish gray tone. The lighter tones are like a well-worn, well-loved chambray shirt, whereas the deeper colors have a note of violet to them, almost like fabric stained deeply by a leaking blue pen.
The "Letting Go" Pillow Sham by Parivara and Tu - Value $68.00?
I'm not sure of the pricing of this sham since the version on their site comes with the pillow inside. But knowing that the sham is handmade by Indian artisans, eco-friendly, and helps support funding for children in need, I'm betting the value of the sham alone is somewhat (and justifiably) close to this full cost.
Here's the information about this environmentally and socially aware company. Again, I love knowing about the brand behind this item and being able to learn about all the reasons why this textile is as valuable as it is. There's economic, environmental, and social intention that went into it, rather than just good design. I think that makes it unique and worth more to me than just something I could find at a home decor store.
The 16" x 16" sham is made of sturdy cotton canvas that's thick, but not scratchy. There's a zip closure, too, so I won't have to worry about the pillow popping out.
I'm usually not a paisley person, but the sparse nature of these printed indigo designs makes this pillow less boho and busy, which I like. It's fresh and simple—a great neutral addition to a sofa (or an outdoor patio, if you've got one!).
Large Fabric Bucket by Maika - Value $24.00?
I couldn't find this exact pattern on the Maika site, so I linked to something similar to provide value! I love these kinds of canvas buckets—they're a pretty alternative for catching mail, or even for setting potted plants inside.
This blue bucket represents the brightest version of indigo in the box, and it feels beautifully summery.
The bucket is about 10" wide at the top and 8.5" wide at the bottom. It's 9" tall, so it's pretty deep, too. The best part is that the bucket is made from recycled cotton canvas, so it's sturdy, cute, and eco-friendly!
Verdict: Nestify is really going out with a bang with this box. Knowing that their next step is a textile-specific box makes perfect sense after seeing the products featured here—I really liked this assortment of high-quality, handmade fabric finds. Getting a glimpse into the companies behind the products was great, too. It sounds so silly, but just having the tag or name of the designer to reference makes me feel so much better about the items in a box that boasts about curation (rather than not knowing if the item was done by hand or just mass produced somewhere like items I could find at any home store). The box itself is $45.00 after shipping (which was $4.95 to me in Pennsylvania), and there was about $120.00. Of course the sham might not be worth the full $68.00 I estimated (since it doesn't include the insert, like the one online), but even if I chopped that value in half, the value of the box is well over the cost. I was really happy with this box—it makes me excited to see what happens with their rebranded subscription!
