Cow Tail Cat Toy from Polydactyl Cats – Value $5?

This is definitely the sort of toy Angus enjoys–small and easy to toss around. He wouldn’t play with it much on camera, but after I put everything away, he was all over it. (Naturally.) This isn’t in the Polydactyl Cats Etsy shop, so I’ve estimated the value based on the size (we have some other toys by the brand).

Vermont Home Grown Organic Catnip Toy (exclusive) – Value $6?

I don’t actually know what kind of animal this is supposed to be. Oh well. Sneaky found the texture interesting. This is another toy that’s hard to find online, but I found a bunch of similar ones from the same company here (also look at the “related products” below the linked item).

Amazing Pet Products Frizzy Fun Mouse – Value $7.49

Pretty much everyone found this interesting because of the long, dangly limbs.  You can see Angus tossing it around in the photos below.

Petlinks Hypernip Silly Piggies (2 count) – Value $6.99

Small catnip mice are always a hit (well, this says “piggies,” but it is hard to tell what animal they are supposed to be). These have an interesting canvas texture that Monkey liked. They also have silvervine, so I suspect Madison will be playing with them soon, once he comes out from under the bed. Which could be awhile since my husband was just running the vacuum.

Caledon Farms Chicken Bites (0.75 oz) – Value $4?

This is a Canadian treat, and I can’t find it for sale in the US. They are just tiny cubes of freeze-dried chicken. Madison, Sneaky, and Angus enjoyed them. They were a little stinky despite being only chicken. I’ve estimated the value based on other freeze-dried chicken cat treats. (For the record, Meowbox is pretty good about providing unique treats that you don’t see in other cat subscriptions, including a lot from Canada.)

Madison will come out of his lair for treats.

But as soon as I put this on his head, he went back under the bed and hid.

I could only get pictures of Sneaky eating.  This was my favorite.

I don’t really think Mr. Kitty knew what was going on, but it was nice to see him out and about.

Verdict: I calculated a value of about $29.50 for the June Meowbox. That’s a great value for a cat subscription. I did have to estimate a lot of values, but I did so based on items that were quite similar, and I tended to guess on the low side, so it’s possible the retail value could be higher. (Meowbox does have a shop but it doesn’t always contain everything from the box, and it wasn’t loading for me when I went to write this review.)  Anyway, I thought this was a pretty good mix of exclusive and hard-to-find cat toys, and my guys and gal liked pretty much everything in it.

Every single time I see the box picture I feel a bit sorry for Angus because his name isn’t there. Sure he doesn’t care but he seems to be the most excited.

Good to see Mr. Kitty out and about and even playing in a different review. It also appears that Angus got over his shyness when it comes to treats but he is a toy hog, but I think that goes with being a kitten. Say hi to all your furries and Nyx from Leeloo and Louie.
