Each box comes with a booklet detailing the month’s products and prices. Art of Organics’ theme this month is “Golden Hour” and the products are intended to brighten your skin as we head into the summer months. The stunning print on the box band and booklet was done by Zoe Wodarz from Minnesota, who is a freelance illustrator and pattern designer.

Skin Owl Body+ (4 oz.) – Value $46.00

I have to admit I was a little hesitant when I saw that the body oil this month contained some shimmer. My thoughts raced back to the high school body glitter days of the early nineties and I inwardly cringed. How could I have ever doubted Art of Organics?! Of course, they wouldn’t include an item that I wouldn’t instantly fall in love with. The body oil doesn’t have “glitter”, it has micro specks of rose gold mica that give the most subtle and gorgeous glow. My skin is still feeling parched from winter and this oil is just the thing my body needed. Body+ is a limited edition product, so if you want it don’t hesitate or you might miss out. And trust me you don’t want to miss out.

Don’t see any sparkle on my hand? That’s because this body oil doesn’t make you sparkle. It just gives you a delicate, moisturized luster. Pure perfection!

Skin Owl Turmeric Beauty Bar (4.5 oz.) – Value $24.00

This soap came wrapped so nicely and has a woodgrain design etched into the bar for a lovely nature-inspired vibe. The bar can be used morning and night as a daily cleanser. The turmeric is said to have antiseptic and antibacterial properties to help reduce inflammation and brighten the appearance of your skin. This bar will last up to 12 weeks with daily use and is GMO, gluten, fragrance, paraben, and cruelty-free. It’s also vegan. I found that this bar left my skin feeling clean and not stripped the way most bars do. After a few days of use, my skin felt softer and looked less dry and dull than it had.

Verdict: This month’s Clean Beauty Box value is $70 which is quite a lot less than usual, but still well above the $39 cost of the box. Both items were big winners for me personally. I was happy to see a mix of both face and body being included again. Clean Beauty is hands down my favorite beauty subscription and one of my all-time favorite subscriptions period. Their curation, packaging and customer service are consistently exceptional.

  1. Does anyone have a number for Art of Organics? I am having multiple boxes and billings occurring on my account. I have not heard back from AoO, in 15 day. Is anyone else having multiple charges? or Box deliveries? Usually, they respond in two days, but it’s been two weeks. I don’t want to have to cancel. Any ideas?

    • I had to email them and used the email from their website. They got back to me in 24 hours. Maybe try that.

    • Hi Chelsea!

Sorry there has been some miscommunication! We’ve responded to all your emails within 24 hours of receiving, but haven’t received any emails back. Perhaps they are going to spam?
We’ll send another follow up to today to the email we have on file for you. We’ll check back here as well!

      All the Best,
      Art of Organics

  2. Love love the turmeric bar! Use it as my second cleanse on the face after using an oil. It doesn’t strip and is gentle. Leaves a clean but glowing effect. The body oil doesn’t have shimmer, it just reflects light. Perfect for the summer. This is my hands down favorite beauty box. Do wish they offered more of a discount for a year long subscription because this box is worthy a year long subscription

    • Keep an eye out for Black Friday deals. Last year they had 20% off long term subscriptions.

  3. I began subscribing to Art Of Organics because of Jessica’s reviews. I love it! I haven’t tried the soap but the body oil is divine. It’s great for summer especially if you’re going to a pool party. There’s a subtle golden glow. Just make sure you shake it up before applying.

  4. This box looks great honestly finding turmeric soap is pretty disfficult, and the oil has jojoba which I love.

I might subscribe if the next box being reviewed is still on Par.
