I just did an online order for $60 and the bonus box didn’t show up. I talked to a chat rep and he was CLUELESS. Don’t fall for this “offer”…it doesn’t exist.

I’ve probably ordered 20 or more target boxes since I’ve been introduced to them through MSA. I’ve tried ONCE to use the 3 dollar of coupon it didn’t work so I never tried again. This morning i order 27$ of beauty items, got no free shipping but did get promised the 5$ gift card . I just called customer service and asked if i could use my 3$ beauty box coupon from this month’s beauty box. Well you would have thought that 3 bucks was coming from that CS agent’s paycheck. We went around and around, i was so frustrated i was ready to cancel the order and swear off my beloved Target on principal alone. Finally he agreed to send me a 3 $gift card, but only after a 20 minute battle of wills.Anyone else have problems with the 3$ coupon code in the beauty boxes?

Mine never work for online orders, even when I’m not purchasing beauty boxes. They have only worked in-store one time. The cashiers alway have to apply a discount manually.

I just tried it online – it worked! Target.com combines discounts, so if, say, you are buying an item that is currently $1.50 cheaper than usual, after entering the code from the $3 card, it will say on top “discounts: $4.50”

Really? Mine did scan in store without any problems, and I used a couple at a time. Haven’t tried using them online yet though.

The May beauty bonus box is all gone now.

I just called customer service right now to verify if that shipping charge was correct and they said it was. It kinda sucks that they are charging more to ship the box then what they are selling it for. I was going to get this but I am going to have to pass. I think this is only a good deal if you were already going to buy the $20 worth of beauty items on Target.com anyways. Besides I feel like the recent target boxes have been kinda meh. I haven’t gotten one since January.

Hmm early this morning I placed an order not realizing the box was free with a $20 purchase. I bought the $5 bonus box, $10 May box and $7 April box. Shouldn’t a free bonus box have popped up? I did get the $5 gift card.

The beauty bonus is free with a $20 purchase, but the bonus itself does not count towards the purchase.
Also, you don’t need to add it to your cart – if you make the minimum, the bonus is going to appear in your cart automatically.

That happened to me, too. I cancelled the order then placed a new one without the $5 box then it showed up as free. You may still be able to cancel/reorder or try chatting/emailing them. They typically have very good customer service.

Ugh I didn’t realize it would show up for free after I spent $20 so now I’m getting 2. 1 I paid for and 1 that is coming for free. Is it showing that you’re getting 1 or 2? Because you might have done the same thing.

Correction to my last post: I was going to pass, but when I added an item to my cart that I had been needing to buy (might as well make use of the $5 gift card promotion), the May Beauty Bonus box AND $5 GC added itself to my cart, both free.

Side note: I ordered a 10oz bottle of ‘IT’S A 10 Miracle Leave-in Product’ for $27.49 ($37.03 from Ulta). Using my Target REDcard I saved 5% & received free shipping. With tax, I only paid $27.43 for for the styling product I needed, a gift card to use at a later time, & these 4 samples. Not bad! Even if I don’t use everything, I’m saving samples for stockings this Christmas.

They weren’t offered at all stores,, though. The nearest one to me was about 20 miles and I live near a large city. Worth $5 to not have to drive over there.

I didn’t go but I heard about it on Reddit. Apparently the sales associates didn’t really know what to do from other people’s reports, which is probably why they have samples to unload. Several stores had a table out but you had to ask for the samples.

Easy pass. I’m averaging about 3 Target beauty boxes a year. I use to grab every single one.

Looks like you can get the $5 box for free if you have $20 of other beauty stuff. I got 4.2 oz BioOil since there is a $5 gift card on that and the May $10 box and it automatically added the Promotional box, plus two $5 gift cards – one for the oil and one for the total spend of $20. Dial body wash also happens to be buy 4, get $5 gift card too.

Thanks for letting me know. I had to get some face scrub for my son that was almost $10 so I added two of them plus a lip balm to get the free box and gift card. I wouldn’t have bought the box but it was nice to get it for free!

I was going to say the same thing. Looks like you get the box for free with a $20 purchase. I spent $35 and the box showed up as a free promotional item and the $5 gift card showed up as well. I used the $3 beauty coupon from the last target box, then saved 5% and got free shipping for using my target card. Not a bad deal!

It says $5.99 for shipping on the first page but once you go through checkout the shipping goes away if you are a red card holder. At least it did it for me.
