As the sticker on the envelope says, the theme this month is "Chubby Animals Party!"
Lots of subscription boxes and packages have an info card or note in the box. But never before have I seen a subscription where their info card is also a sticker! Or should I say, stickers. The "We're not getting old. We're getting awesome" saying is a sticker, as is the cake, the balloons, the #StickiiClubBday message, and the mini Stickii envelope. Cute! The chubby animal stickers in this pack are celebrating the subscription's 1-year anniversary. In her note, the founder, Rita, mentions how fun, playful stickers helped bring her happiness and a sense of cheer. I'm right there with you, Rita! Thanks for creating such a fun subscription!
Molang the Bunny Stickers
I'm not that awesome at identifying the myriad of adorable kawaii characters out there, so I was glad that these stickers came labeled with Molang's name down at the bottom! I'm especially glad because Molang (and Molang's chick friend Piu Piu) is so darn cute! I want to collect more Molang goodies!
There are two sheets of Molang stickers—one of which is more scenic (Molang and friends are hanging out in front of colorful backgrounds), and another which is more focused on the individual characters. Both are adorable and have a sleek, smooth finish to them. I think my favorite design of the two sheets is the suntanned Molang sitting in the beach chair! Very summery!
Piske and Usagi Bathtime Stickers by Kanahei
Kanahei's name appeared at the bottom of this sticker sheet, so I gave it a Google. I've seen this bunny somewhere before, but I didn't know who the character was. Apparently, Kanahei is a popular illustrator from Japan who specializes in digital designs. I loved looking through her work, and I really adore these little bunnies and chicks! The sticker sheet itself is clear, and the stickers themselves are a little translucent. The colors are bright and playful when set against a white background. And I love the personality in these stickers! My favorite of this sheet is probably of the character Piske (the chick) tucked under a blanket with a little nightcap on!
Bear Happy Birthday Stickers
I recognize these bears, too, but I'm not sure the name of the character. (If anyone recognizes it, please comment!) I love how expressive these bears are, despite how simple the drawing style is. And of course, they're perfect for celebrating Stickii's birthday! Even though the ink is white, these stickers are actually pretty opaque. The sticker backing is clear, and the finish is smooth plastic. The contrast between the black, white, and primary colors is really compelling to me. It's just such a fun sheet!
Fun Fun Friends Rainbow Stickers
Wheee! These are so cute and silly! I love the contradiction between these cute animals and their blank, almost frowning faces. I think the little white pig saying "I'm Pig" is my favorite. Its little mouth is just a teeny dot! Some of these stickers are circles, some are just the animal head itself (like the black bunny in the bottom right corner). This is another example of simple designs that end up being so cute and expressive!
Tiny Panda Stickers
I don't know if this panda is an official character or not, but I'm wild about this little bear! Like Molang, this critter's best pal seems to be this little yellow chick. Each of these stickers is only about the size of my thumbnail, which makes them all the more precious. Almost every sticker depicts a different panda pose or expression! It's hard to pick a fave here because so many stickers gave me a giggle—the panda and chick carrying their shopping bags (the panda's bag is full of bamboo!), the panda in its pool goggles and swim bottoms, the panda rolling upside down... So cute!
Kawaii Plant Stickers
I'm not sure who this little character is, either, nor am I totally sure what kind of plant (or plant-creature hybrid) it represents. (Again, if you know, share its name in the comments!) My best guess is that it's a little daikon radish? The important thing is that these translucent stickers are super quirky and fun! I think maybe the one at the bottom right is giving the finger? And another is flexing its little daikon 6-pack? Aaaaamazing.
Scented Bear Stickers
These tiny stickers come in a bag, rather than a sheet. They have kind of Valentine's vibe to them, thanks to the conversation hearts stickers mixed in with the bears and thanks to them being lightly scented like candy! The stickers themselves are about just slightly bigger than conversation heart candies, so they'll fit great in a planner or in the boxes on your monthly calendar. The little card that acts as the label for the pack has some sparkle to it, but the stickers don't really. They are super cute and colorful, though—the palette reminded me of jellybean colors.
Pig Face Sticker
The last thing in the pack is this square pig sticker. It's a little more than 2 inches square and has a smooth finish. There is a pattern in the face, which makes it look like the design was printed on canvas. But the sticker is nice and glossy. I like this silly sticker. I want to think of somewhere cute to put it, like on the front of my bicycle or car.
Verdict: This subscription is just $10.00 per month (plus free U.S. shipping). It's possible that these sticker sheets weren't worth exactly $10.00, but I personally got at least $10.00 worth of happiness out of this pack! I love that these stickers are designs I don't usually see at stores around me (I'd have to go online or out of my way to order them for myself). Getting these uncommon stickers was a really awesome surprise—they're things I might not go looking for myself, but getting them in my mail literally made me squeal. I love the fact that this pack leaned towards the kawaii world and featured so many silly, sweet characters. Now, I just have to figure out who they all are!
