Linen Scarf – Value $32.00?
This scarf is 100% linen and is made in India. It’s got a thick weight to it and is quite large, so it could also double as a shawl. I will love having this over my shoulders in chilly restaurants and theaters this summer. I think the deep blues in the scarf are stunning.
I couldn’t find this specific product online, so I linked to something similar for reference.
Pearl Necklace Scarf – Value $12.80?
I’ve never seen a necklace like this before. It’s like a super silky scarf with two strands of pearls that dangle down in front. I’ve paired it with a plain white tank here but I think it would also look nice over a collared chambray shirt. I searched online for this necklace, and I found something like it on Etsy (which I linked to in order to give an idea of value). I’m not sure if this is the exact item, but it looks quite similar to me.
Triangle Pearl Earrings – Value $11.99?
These simple gold studs are delicate and comfortable to wear. I like the angular look of the triangle mixed with the smooth round pearl. I don’t own much pearl jewelry, and now I have the scarf necklace and these earrings! I’ve linked to similar earrings on Amazon to help give an idea of value.
Prestige Eyeshadow – $3.95
This is one of the surprise items, and while I like the grayish purple color, this eyeshadow is very light on the pigment. The swatch on my arm is actually four applications. If you want a natural look, this eyeshadow would work well, because it would be nearly impossible to overdo it.
Mini Notebook – Value $0.50?
This is the tiniest pad I’ve ever seen. It’s like a matchbook. They suggest keeping this in your coin purse to jot down quick memos. I just took a guess at the value of this product.
I enjoy drinking tea, and I’ve always been drawn to these adorable tea pyramids from Tea Forte. Something about the cute shape makes the whole tea-drinking experience even better.
Nektar Honey Crystals are made with cane sugar and real honey. They help you add honey to beverages without the stickiness of real honey. One individual envelope is equal to one teaspoon of honey.
Bag Charm – Value $7.00?
Pink Aura Box sent a welcome gift in this box, being that I’m a new member. I think that was so sweet of them! It’s a gold faux-leather tassel and a hanging golden charm that says “fierce.” This charm has just the right amount of shimmer to make it noticeable without being in your face. I just guessed at the value of this gift.
Verdict: This is my first Pink Aura Box, and I was very happy with the assortment of accessories and surprise goodies sent this month. The scarf is beautiful, and I really like the stud earrings. The welcome gift (bag charm) was a nice touch, and everything was packaged nicely too. I like how many pieces were wrapped individually in little bags so they could be easily gifted if wanted to share the wealth with friends. The value this month with my estimations is over $70.00, which is well above the cost of the box ($39.99 with free shipping), so I’m pleased with that. Many women’s accessory boxes are only filled with jewelry, and I think this is a great option if you want scarves and other trinkets mixed in, as well.
