The opposite side includes some DIY recipes for food, green cleaning, or beauty products! This month they sent a recipe for Swedish Pancakes. I’ve made some of these before, and they turned out amazing so I’m excited to try their recommended recipe, too.

Swedish Dishcloths – 2 count, Total Value $12 total ($5.99 each)

These are interesting! They’re Swedish dishcloths, and they feel almost like cardboard in weight/stiffness. They’re made with natural materials (earth-friendly cellulose and cotton) and they can apparently absorb up to 15 times their own weight. They also soften when they get wet and will harden again as they dry. Also, they have some really pretty designs!

These are really durable and the texture is effective for scrubbing and cleaning. Each cloth is supposed to last between 9-12 months. I think these work super well! I really love how effectively they scrub off some mysterious, dried-on food from my counters and the like. They’re really like sponges.

These are versatile, too! You can boil or microwave them while they’re wet for a few seconds, and wash them in your washer or top rack of a dishwasher! So far they’ve been fun to play with and work great.

Verdict: This was a fun Mighty Fix for me! I always find interesting new products that end up being super useful. I’ve enjoyed using these Swedish dishcloths for the last few days. The patterns are cute and they are definitely helpful towards greener- and low/no-waste living. The value is there – the cost of these are more than the cost of the box, I’m definitely going to get some solid use out of them, plus someone else found them for me!

I just subscribed and was wondering if their store/add-on selection gets new items frequently.

So it safe to assume not everyone receives the same thing as others each month? I used to subscribe to them when they first opened and everyone got the same thing. Now it appears not. I re-subscribed and I’m just curious.

These look great! My only critique to Mighty Fix would be to somehow determine if the products would be well-received by the individual subscriber, esp as each subscriber receives different items each month. I was super excited about this subscription and tracked the reviews for over a year before joining (we try to be eco conscious at home). I’ve gotten 4 months of Mighty Fixes so far, and three of them have been months of items that I already have at home and use. Just makes me disappointed (we have enough lunch skins to sink a ship, as well as the bees wrap and cleaning cloths). Yet I’d be thrilled to open any of the other packages that people have been getting (glass containers, metal straws, Swedish towels, glass bottle/cleaner, sunscreen, bug spray, etc). Sure, I can give them away, but I was really hoping to learn and try new products. I don’t know if their mailings follow a schedule or how they select who gets what, but it would be AWESOME if they had some kind of feedback system, product mailing schedule, or even let you pick between two selected items each month so you can ensure you try something new. They already have a place online to view your Fix before it arrives, so I imagine it couldn’t be too complicated. Just my two cents. I love the concept of Might Fix, and just hope I can get some different products soon!

I hope to get these soon. This month I received two small glass storage containers. For the price this is an amazing sub and is on my “don’t cancel” list.

I got the same 2 glass storage containers. I love their smaller size – perfect for leftovers or snacks. And I agree – I’ll never cancel this sub – the value is phenomenal, especially for great ecogoods!
