The opposite side includes some DIY recipes for food, green cleaning, or beauty products! This month they sent a recipe for Swedish Pancakes. I’ve made some of these before, and they turned out amazing so I’m excited to try their recommended recipe, too.
Swedish Dishcloths – 2 count, Total Value $12 total ($5.99 each)
These are interesting! They’re Swedish dishcloths, and they feel almost like cardboard in weight/stiffness. They’re made with natural materials (earth-friendly cellulose and cotton) and they can apparently absorb up to 15 times their own weight. They also soften when they get wet and will harden again as they dry. Also, they have some really pretty designs!
These are really durable and the texture is effective for scrubbing and cleaning. Each cloth is supposed to last between 9-12 months. I think these work super well! I really love how effectively they scrub off some mysterious, dried-on food from my counters and the like. They’re really like sponges.
These are versatile, too! You can boil or microwave them while they’re wet for a few seconds, and wash them in your washer or top rack of a dishwasher! So far they’ve been fun to play with and work great.
Verdict: This was a fun Mighty Fix for me! I always find interesting new products that end up being super useful. I’ve enjoyed using these Swedish dishcloths for the last few days. The patterns are cute and they are definitely helpful towards greener- and low/no-waste living. The value is there – the cost of these are more than the cost of the box, I’m definitely going to get some solid use out of them, plus someone else found them for me!
