Ruff & Whiskerz Pizza Toy (Meowbox exclusive) – Value $5?

You’ll get quite a few exclusive Ruff & Whiskerz toys in Meowbox. I used the value from some other Ruff & Whiskerz toys from the Meowbox Shop. Angus wrestled this. He is still young enough that he will play with pretty much anything. This is a good size for my cats; they like smaller toys (see the scale in one of the cat photos below).

Maui Meowi Catnip Pillow – Value $5?

I can’t find this for sale online (searching it only turns up other Meowbox reviews) so the value is an estimate. Angus thought this was great. You can see a few photos below of him wrestling it.

Le Sharma Trading Wool Flower (Meowbox exclusive) – Value $6

You get exclusive wool toys from Le Sharma Trading fairly often in Meowbox. This month it was this flower. My cats do like these quite a bit so I am always happy to get more. Plus, they are handmade in Nepal in a Fair Trade facility!

My Cat is People Enamel Pin (“But Furrst Coffee!”) – Value $11

My Cat is People is an Etsy shop that offers a lot of cat-themed pins and buttons. Although I don’t drink coffee, the pin itself doesn’t actually say coffee, that’s just the backing. A cat in a teacup works for a tea drinker too! (Although I have never had a cat small enough to fit in a teacup, not even when I got a 2-month-old kitten.) I am collecting a few cat-themed pins so I need to figure out a place to proudly display them.

Vita Essentials Vitalcat Freeze Dried Wild Alaskan Salmon (1.1 oz) – Value $6

These are single-ingredient treats. We’ve been getting a lot of freeze-dried meat lately. It’s kind of a double-edged sword – you really can’t do better in terms of ingredients (plus these are made in the USA), but not all of my cats like freeze-dried meat much.Only Sneaky and Angus ended up eating these (although Madison and Monkey did lick them).

Gratuitous cat photo time:

I’m not looking at you!

OK, maybe I’ll open one eye. Just a little bit.

Verdict: I calculated a value of about $33 for the April Meowbox. That is pretty good for a cat subscription box! Also, you will get lots of exclusive toys and Etsy-type items that you can’t find anywhere else, so I think that adds something to the value. All the cats liked the wool flower and Angus had fun with the other toys, and Sneaky loved the treats, so this was a good month for us.
