Exclusive Attack on Titan Pouch and Notepad Set – Value $15?

Wow, Loot Anime went all out for this one! This is probably the most elaborate fan item I’ve ever received. Attack on Titan is a highly popular fantasy series set in a post-apocalyptic world where humanity resides within huge walls to protect themselves from monstrous giants called Titans. The Survey Corps is a military branch devoted to exploring the world outside the walls and reclaim land from the Titans, and the story revolves around the characters in the Survey Corps.

This polyurethane pouch has a flap with button closure. The back also has a belt clip if you want to be extra snazzy.

The Survey Corps emblem is debossed onto the leather-like material.

To the side is a slot for a rectangular-shaped pencil, which is designed to look like the blades the Survey Corps use to kill titans. I’m not sure how I’ll sharpen it, though.

Lift the pouch flap and you’ll find a small notepad. It also has the Survey Corps emblem proudly printed on the cover. It measures 3.5 by 5.5 inches and the pages are gridded.

Overall, this is such a well-constructed piece! Even if the pouch itself is too fancy for me to use in a day-to-day setting, I can still carry the notepad around. If I’m willing to part with the notepad, I know quite a few Attack on Titan fans who would love this novelty set.

Attack on Titan World Collectible Figure Levi – Value $10-20

Captain Levi Ackerman is an important and popular character in Attack on Titan. This is a 3-inch figure featuring Levi in his handsome Survey Corps getup. A quick online search of this figure gives me a price range of $10-20 depending on where you look.

The paint job is pretty good! I love the details on his clothing, especially the emblem on his cape.

School-Live! Manga Volume 1 – Value $12.98 on Amazon

Here is the summary from the back cover:

Meet the members of the School Living Club! There’s the shovel-loving(?) Kurumi Ebisuzawa, the big-sister figure Yuuri Wakasa, club advisor Megumi Sakura, and last but not least, the ever-optimistic Yuki Takeya. The School Living Club is just your average after-school organization where the girls hang out, have fun…and live at school as the sole survivors of a zombie apocalypse. NBD.

While the zombie apocalypse trope is overly used these days, I think School-Live! offers an interesting spin on the survival genre. The cutesy artwork and lighthearted scenes often mask the darker themes of the story. Overall, it’s an engrossing and quick read.

Exclusive Black Lagoon Coaster Set – Value $18?

Set in the seas of Southeast Asia, Black Lagoon revolves around a group of pirate mercenaries called the Lagoon Company. This four-piece coaster set features the members of Lagoon Company: Rock, Benny, Dutch, and Revy. The coasters are housed in a metal “ammo” case that can also be used to store all kinds of bits and baubles.

Each coaster is made from metal wrapped over a layer of soft cork. The pieces are lightweight but sturdy enough to handle heavy drinkware. I’m a fan!

Exclusive Yume HUMANITY Charm – Value $2?

This is the monthly charm featuring Loot Anime‘s mascot, Yume. Here she’s channeling her inner survivalist with dual blades and a roughed-up school uniform. There are even patches of blood on her clothing! I’d be intimidated if her chibi form isn’t so adorable.

Verdict: This was an exciting month of Loot Anime! I estimate the total value at around $58, which is more than twice the cost of the box. The quality of the notebook and pouch set is incredible, and it is the stand-out item of the box. I’m also really happy with the manga inclusion– any month with manga is always a good month for me. This is definitely in my top 3 Loot Anime boxes of all time.

  1. I’m tempted to get Loot anime box. The AOT notebook and case looks amazing .

  2. The pencil is a carpenters pencil, you can either sharpen it by whittling down the end with a box cutter, pocket knife or hobby knife, or you can get a specially designed pencil sharpener for carpenters pencils. Its really weird but really useful too since most carpenters pencils have much sturdier led/graphite/whatever than your average pencils.
