The Bocandy Starter Box includes 5-7 product from U.S. and abroad with a retail value of $17.50.
The first item is a big 7oz bag of sour gummies from the very popular, HARIBO.
These specific candies are from Germany - and are only a level 1 of 3 on the sour scale (according to the lemons on the packaging).
I definitely agree with the sour rating. As someone who doesn't enjoy sour candy, that wasn't the case here - these were full of flavor and had only a bit of sourness to them.
This honey cake comes from Bulgaria.
The cake was large - probably similar to a Hostess roll here in the States. It's covered in chocolate with a light airy cake center. The taste isn't super sweet - but even with the subtle flavor, it was tasty.
Prestige Cake Bars
These cake bars are another Bulgarian product, like the honey cake above.
I liked this cake bar quite a bit more than the honey cake. The taste popped a bit more, and while there isn't a lot of Strawberry filling - it was tasty!
This ChocFreta wafer bar hails from Greece!
Fans of sugar wafers will know what to expect with these. It's essentially just a chocolate covered wafer - but I am loving it - the chocolate is a little extra rich and tasty.
This box had only one hard candy from Zozole, which is based in Poland.
These little candies are the most authentic tasting cola candy I've ever had! We had 3 of these candies in our box.
Kasugai Ramune Flavor Gummy Candy
The final candy is a Japanese gummy flavored after a popular Japanese soft drink.
I've never had Ramune - but it almost has a bubble gum flavor in this juicy gummy - yum!
Verdict: I'm always a fan of trying popular candy, snacks, and drinks from around the world - so this little Bocandy Starter Box spoke to me. While they guarantee $17.50 in value - it definitely feels like more of a value than that - the Honey Cake alone was selling for $9 on the linked site. Either way, I put the value in getting to try candies that I would never think about trying - and at $15 shipped, I think it's a nice little treat!
