This is worth it for me for the Drunk Elephant sunscreen alone! I will generously swap for it if anyone is interested 😊

I keep saying I’m waiting one more month to see If it gets better before I cancel. I just haven’t been getting anything that i just love.

Claudia

Why does the April Play card expires at the end of April? I never get the box until the middle of the month, that’s not enough time for me to redeem.

Noelle

I’m on their website. How do I cancel? I over subscribed!! 🙂 Gotta cut back…

YAY! Lookin good so far. We get a new shadow for our palette! 🙂 Nice shade for spring. Kneipp oils are nice, I have used them. I actually have the safflower/olive oil in my medicine cabinet right now…I occasionally use it to remove my eye makeup before washing my face. And Drunk Elephant products look really fun…never used them but have always wanted to. I’m really surprised to see these spoilers posted so early. Thx Liz 🙂

This box is looking much better than what the past few months have, I’m excited! Love body oils, works great to put on your bikini area after shaving 😉

Can anyone tell me what’s so great about the Drunk Elephant brand in general? I see it’s very popular and was wondering why?

Alex

I have the most sensitive skin. And I’m blessed with rosacea. I can hardly use anything on my face. Then I found DE.
I researched the heck out of it. Especially since it is not cheap. I was all over beautypedia and other sites reading reviews frim customers and dermatologists. I have to say it truly lives up to the hype.
I know immediately if a product is not for me. I tried Sunday Riley and my face burned from the fragrance.
DE doesn’t add fragrance. I use the eye lotion (even though most dermatologist say eye lotion is unnecessary).
My must have DE products are the C Firma Day Serum and the TLC Framboos Glycolic Night Serum. They have transformed my skin.
I do not buy the marula oil from DE though. It’s waaayyyyy overpriced and you can get the exact same product from Acure Organics for much less, especially when they have promo’s or sales.
So, that’s my very long answer and unwanted advice lol.
I do also love the DE sunscreen and it gets great reviews but again, it’s pricey and there are tons of great sunscreens.

This is why I want to try it – I know some people aren’t fans of Beautypedia, but it has never suggested a product that disappoints me! (the skincare reviews are fairly strict if you don’t care about fragrances, sensitizing ingredients, etc.) I just wish they could review even more, lol.

Plus, some of their reviews are pretty funny.

SSM

Read some reviews on Beautypedia. Basically their formulas are found to be effective and without irritating ingredients. I’ve sampled several things from the line and have been impressed, but it is soooo expensive and is never on sale!

Drunk Elephant goes on sale at Dermstore at times. They had it on sale for 20% off not too long ago, and sometimes they have a 30% sitewide sale too! Also, Sephora has it on sale during their VIB events (one of which is coming up next week). 🙂

I need to cancel my membership . I’m not receiving the boxes.

So far Allure hasn’t shown me any reason to be sorry I canceled a few months ago. Now if I could just get off the waitlist for Boxy Charm.

Jenny

How long have you been on the boxycharm waitlist? I’m on the waitlist as well :/

Looks like May is gonna be great box !

More pink eyeshadow 🙁 Am I the only one who looks like I have an eye infection with this new trend? I don’t like body oil, either. I think I should put my boxes on hold until a better trend comes along. I keep receiving pink eyeshadow and deathly dark lipsticks.

Reply ButtonReply

Julia

Even if it makes me look infected, it’s a nice change from the 23 billion brown eyeshadows I’ve gotten in the last few years. Neutrals are nice, but I’m ready for color! My skin’s pretty cool toned, too, so the bronze trend was a little hard to pull off.

Marina

I have the same issue w/ purple eyeshadow, but luckily not pink, so I know what you mean! I hope they keep the variety up so everyone gets a color they like…eventually!

Reply ButtonReply

Marina

FYI I think the link for the body oil is actually to the bath stuff rather than the oil. Only mentioning it cause the bath mini is 4 and the oil is 6, nice to have it worth more 😉
Hopefully the rest (or last) items are worth a bit more, it seems a bit low this month.
I will probably re up this month just cause I want the new eyeshadow color!

Jess

After reading past reviews. I hope they add more items. Seems like they use to include 6-8 items in the boxes and last month they only included 5. I am also hoping they will include at least 1 full size item. I just received my March box yesterday. Wasn’t thrilled about the nail polish color. I got the sheer color. Was hoping for the fuscia or pink color. Oh well. I can use it for mani … My April box should be here next week.

Jessicups

I am noticing that this months box is quite a bit lower value then others, this is 4/5 items (unless the brush and shadow count as one) and it only adds up to about $27 so far (unless I’m off on sizes). Hoping maybe the last item is a big ticket item 😀 Not necessarily cause I expect a certain value (though its nice), I just genuinely hope its an awesome item! haha

Reply ButtonReply

Julia

Hmm not certain what I’ll do with the body oil – that’s not an item I really use. It might make decent massage oil like Jessicups suggested, so long as it doesn’t cause a breakout. I’m excited about the Drunk Elephant, love brushes, and am looking forward to FINALLY getting one of the other palettes! I skipped April but I’m definitely going to renew for May. I just want to make sure I don’t get sent April’s box, too.

So glad I cancelled. April and May are awful

Not a huge fan of body oils, but maybe I can use it as a massage oil, my husband will luuuuuuv that! lol. Definitely not my favorite Allure box, though I’m still very excited for the Drunk Elephant sun screen! Hope I get the almond scented oil, not a floral fan at all. On the bright side, Ill have some good items to swap with this month.
