When you sign up for an annual subscription with Say It With A Sock, you get two extra pairs of socks in your first shipment! This is our first month on a year-long subscription, so we received 4 pairs instead of the usual two this month.

SockSmith Kids’ Einstein socks, 7-10 Years, 12-5Y Shoe Size – Value $5.50

How fun is this punk rock Einstein design?

I found myself wishing these came in adult sizes and – they totally do.

This particular brand advertises a “seamless toe” and it’s true: the toe on these doesn’t have the usual bulk. As a kid, shoes rubbing against seams in my socks used to drive me crazy whenever I’d start growing out of my shoes, so I appreciate that extra touch.

Happy Socks Kids Crew, 3 Pack – Value $12?

We couldn’t find this exact three pack online, but $12 seems to be the going rate.

The first pair in our three pack is a cute citrus print, perfect for spring and summer! My niece will surely love these.

I love this cornflower blue!

The second pair is a simple polka-dot design.

All three of these pairs are nicely coordinated, and would be a great springtime gift! I love that these ones could be dressed up or down but are still fun.

The Happy Socks logo is screen printed on the sole of the sock.

Finally, we have this brightly colored argyle pair.

It’s hard to tell in these photos, but the shoe size is knitted into the design near the toe, too.

I’m generally a fan of Happy Socks; I have a few pairs that I bought myself probably 5 years ago, and they are still going strong! These feel like the same quality overall, so they’ll probably outlast the wear and tear brought on by your average kid, too, and might still be in good enough shape to hand down to a sibling.

Verdict: I think Say It With A Sock is a great subscription for giving! I love that they offer high-quality adult brands in the kids’ package and the designs don’t seem to skew too young; it’s a really fun choice for fashionable kids. $13.99 a month for two pairs with free shipping is fair to me: It’s definitely comparable to other kids’ sock subscriptions, and if I were to buy these socks individually I’d end up spending too much on shipping.
