Love Myself Organics Forever Lavender Deodorant - Value $11.39

Wait, did this natural deodorant actually work? Holy cow, I think it did! To be honest, I run a little sweatier than the average gal, so I've yet to find something in the natural aisle that works for me. This deodorant, surprisingly, really did the trick!

This deodorant goes on sheer and has a pretty herbal scent to it. Did it curtail the sweat? Not really. But it did keep me smelling nice and fresh for a whole evening out without reapplying. I literally brought this along with me in my coat pocket in case things went awry, and I didn't have to use it once!

VagMagic, 7 Count - Value $7.99

I think it's awesome that more and more women are becoming interested and educated in their vaginal health, but I'm really skeptical about this item...

Read our review of the March 2017 Kloverbox!

These little suppositories promise better pH, reduced odor, and to be a remedy for yeast infections. I'm all for natural remedies for those types of issues, but I really wouldn't start using any vaginal product without consulting with a doctor first. As I understand it, vaginas are kind of like ears—to put it bluntly, you really don't want to go sticking random things in there! Plus, it's been my experience that women have all kinds of understandings of what "normal" is. Some of it is legit, and some of it is myth. I'd just hate for someone to start trying to "cure" something that might not really be a medical problem. Long story short, I won't be trying these out for myself. If you do, please share your experience in the comments! And if you haven't, but are curious, please, please, please consult with your midwife or doctor on whether this product is right for your unique body first.

Cuccio Somatology Yoga Elixir - Value $8.95

This spray smells so nice. It's meant to encourage peaceful, calming atmosphere for your yoga practice, but I've been enjoying spritzing it around my living room at night when I settle in to chill out. Obviously, the lavender smells lovely, but the addition of cardamom adds a unique, subtle depth to the aroma.

Verdict: With the exception of the VagMagic (which might be awesome—I don't want to knock it, I just don't know if my body needs it right now), I really loved this box! The perfume felt really high end, and the deodorant really made my day. The value of the items, by my estimates, is about $56.00. Most of that value comes from the perfume, so if you're not a fan, that may impact how cost-effective you think this $25.00 box is. But I think the price is fair for this fun way to find new natural products!

When I saw the name Vag Magic I was really hoping it was an enhancement cream. I was bummed when I read the description. Some lucky MSA’er is getting it as a swap extra, lol.

Yep, I agree no to using Vag magic, everyone’s body chemistry is different and it just seems off to put it in this box. Yes, almost everyone who gets this box is probably female. But, being body and organic ingredient conscious, this product just seems wrong. Throw in a Harvey prince product, the stalker fragrance inside every other birch box. I do like the fragrance spray and will be purchasing in the future. But aside from that… Well, I am really disappointed in this curation and will not be trying kloverbox in the future.

I think it was a huge mistake for them to put a product in their box that could have negative effects on a woman’s body like Vagmagic. From what I understand, you should basically never need to use a product like that. If you have a actual medical problem, you should go to a doctor and if you don’t, well, it’s best to leave everything alone!

Most drugstore brands are antiperspirants/deodorants, natural ones, like this are just deodorants. If you are looking for antiperspirants as well, make sure you read the label.

I’ve been using this deodorant for several weeks, and I absolutely love it. The lavender shea butter scent is just wonderful, and I can still smell it at (albeit less strong) the end of the day. It’s done a great job controlling odor, too.

Isn’t it awesome? I’ve been using it in place of my usual drugstore brand. As Monah notes above, it’s not an antiperspirant, but it’s been doing an awesome job at keeping me feeling fresh throughout the day. I’m glad to hear you’re having a great experience with it, too, Andi! Thanks for commenting 🙂

I got this kloverbox and I’m enjoying it. Always fun to try new things that I wouldn’t otherwise purchase.
