Ipsy Reveals Are Up for the March 2017 Glam Bag!

This month was a major hit for me and I can’t wait for it to come in! I’m getting:

can everyone else but me see what they are getting?? i usually am one of the first people who can see what they are getting…..i cant see anything and i get two bags at my home. one for me and one daughter. i also pay for another daughters at her home. she was able to see what she is getting. i was charged for all three bags…..sigh. just wondering……

*Eva NYC Mane Magic 10-in-1 Primer (I love the brand & am excited to try the product, but the sample seems pretty small for my long hair. I’ll reserve final judgment until I’ve tried it.)

*Ladykin Affinitic Snail Cream (This is the item I selected this month; the packaging is ADORBS & I look forward to trying it.)

*The Balm Cosmetics Bahama Mama Bronzer (Yawn.)

*Doucce Freematic Eyeshadow in Marisa (I know this is a “creator fave” but for some reason I can’t get excited about it. I hope I feel differently after I’ve tried it.)

*Chella Tweezers (This is the item I’m most excited about. It seems like a good quality tool & orange is my favorite color!)

This is the first time in a long time I’ve gotten a bag I’m just sort of “meh” about. At about $36 it’s also the lowest value bag I’ve ever gotten. The bag itself is super cute, though, so I’m not disappointed overall, just not blow away.

How can I check what I’m getting ?

I haven’t seen ANYONE with the Vasanti brush that was still listed as a possible item on reveal day – I wonder if it got cut from the items list too?

I am only disappointed to get the OUAI Mask since I already got it with Sephora Play. Does anyone know if the So Susan Blush & Glow is really full size? I compared the size on ipsy and so susan website and it seems to be full size.

I am bag twins with Liz Cadman! So excited for my Tarte lippie, Elizabeth Mott brush, Mudmasky, Doucce eyeshadow, ModelCo. Eyeliner. So happy with everything in my bag.

So sad!! I signed up because I thought everyone was going to get the Tarte, and, sure enough, I’m not! At least the bag is pretty?

I am getting: Beau Gachis blending brush, MintPear collagen serum, the tarte lippie, modelCo eye pencil, and the doucce eyeshadow in Marisa. I’m pretty happy with mine.

I’m getting:
Beau Gâchis Tapered Blending Brush (I’ve been wanting another eyeshadow blending brush, so this is perfect!)
Chella Eyebrow Highlighter Pencil in Ivory Lace (probably what I’m least excited for in my bag, but it’s still something I think I’ll use. Love that brow highlight!)
Dirty Little Secret Cosmetics Blush in Kitty Pink (loooooove blushes and this one looks super pretty)
tarte cosmetics tarteist™ quick dry matte lip paint in rosé, delish, or vibin (hoping for vibin but I’d wear any of the shades happily, I’ve tried this formula before and like it)
First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Face Moisturizer (it’s fragrance free so I can actually use it, woo hoo! It will go in my swim bag and be perfect)

I also like the bag design. It’s my first ipsy bag in ages, re-subscribed just in time for my birthday month, and I am very pleased with what I’m getting. 😀

I’m disappointed I’m getting yet another copper eye shadow and a blush and highlighter stick. Oh well I’m not un subbing or anything just tired of copper! I think between all the subs I have I get atleast 2 a month. Maybe I should have my daughter be a copper fairy for Halloween lol.

Overall, I’m happy with the variety! I had asked for no more bronzers/highlighters, but I think they told me I wouldn’t get any for 4-6 months and that time is probably up now…

I think my favorite thing about Ipsy is the variety. Everyone not getting the same. Makes the $10/month experience more fun. Yes, sometimes I have bag envy when I see what some of you are getting, but to me, subscription boxes and bags are fun surprises. I always tell myself I’m not going to read the spoilers, but then I always do. It’s like Xmas presents all year long…except I spend too much money on them 😛

Looking forward to trying the JeNu collagen gel. I love Cake handcream, so I’m sure I’ll love the body mousse! I can alway use another concealer. I really have plenty of blush, but I like So Susan products, so maybe this will be a new favorite.

All in all, not a bad month for me, just wish I’d gotten the doucce eye shadow! For those of you who are squeamish about the Ladykins Snail Cream, don’t be! I redeemed points for it a couple of months ago, and the stuff is great! Most of the best Korean skincare products include it in their products.

I’m actually really happy with everything in my bag this month!

I’ve subbed to so many beauty boxes, but somehow this is my first Ipsy bag. I figured I might as well give it a shot and compare it my others (Allure, Play, Birchbox, etc.). Here is what I’m getting in my box:

I’m happy that I didn’t get any eye shadows (I have way too many) or bright lip colors (I mostly wear neutral glosses). I’ve also been shopping around for a good concealer that will help hide my undereye bags without creasing, so my fingers are crossed that the corrector may work for that issue. Overall, while I’m not super-wowed by any of the products, I’m definitely not disappointed!

I’m so excited to be getting dr brant, tarte lip paint and vasanti brush. The hair treatment I got from sephora a few months back, which I still haven’t tried. And the eye shadow doesn’t sound too bad. It is a color I would wear so I’m definitely looking forward to getting my bag this month. 😁

The bag is so cute that it makes up for the fact I’ve gotten 3 of these samples before, from Ipsy.
