The timely theme of the Spring Box is Be Our Guest! I loved Beauty and the Beast when I was a kid and I'm excited to check out the new movie! The information booklet lists out each item. The descriptions of each item show that the box leaned towards floral and fruit scents - perfect for Spring!

Magic Mirror – OCD Hand Sanitizer

The color of this hand sanitizer is so pretty! I love the silvery glitter and it leaves a very faint layer of glitter on your hands. It is really subtle so it didn't bother me at all. The scent for this is a combination of peach, watermelon, and honeyed neroli. Hand sanitizer always smells mostly of alcohol to me but I do detect a slightly fruity, citrusy scent on this. I really love the packaging and color scheme of this bottle so I'm happy to toss this in my purse.

Bonjour – Whipped Cream

I really love the Fortune Cookie Soap whipped cream formula. The little pot of cream from the last box lasted me a couple months because I mostly used it as a hand cream. The lotion is really thick and hydrating. It’s definitely one of my favorite FCS products and I love the pink and blue colors! As a tea lover, the scent of tea leaves and lemon is perfect.

Enchanted Rose - Fortune Cookie Soap

Every box includes one of the namesake soaps and this one is beyond adorable. I love the bright yellow of Belle’s dress pair with the enchanted rose. The fake flower stem is poked through the soap and it's easy to remove before you use the soap. The soap has a light vanilla and floral scent. The soaps are always so cute I hardly want to use them so I think this one might be displayed for a while! My fortune read “There’s something in him I simply didn’t see”.

Beauty - Lip Tint

This tiny lip tint is so cute! The tangerine and vanilla scent is really yummy. The formula is really slick and gives a nice sheen to my lips. The berry tint gives a nice hint of color that works well for my minimal everyday look. I did find myself reapplying this pretty often throughout the day - similar to how I use chapstick.

There’s Something Sweet - Perfume Oil

This perfume oil is described as “the smell of delicate rice flower blossoms, dripping with spring rain”.  That description is super accurate! It’s floral with a musky rain smell mixed in. This definitely smells like springtime to me. The scent is nice and strong. I only had to reapply this once throughout the day but this is usually the case for me with oils.

Lumière - Candle

I love the inclusion of a candle in this box! Of course, it’s named after Lumière! I really liked the fruity smell of blackberries, apples, and magnolia. The pale purple is really pretty and looks great with the rest of the items' packaging. The scent throw on this little tea light is pretty great!

Tame the Beast - Detangler

I love the names for all the products in this box! This detangler smells like black cherries, patchouli, and sandalwood. I smell the patchouli and sandalwood the most and just a slight hint of the cherry. I think I ended up using more of this than I needed to because I liked the scent so much! I haven’t used a detangler in a long time but it was a nice addition to my routine and I think this little bottle will last me a while.

Happily Ever After - Toner Tablet

I’d never used a toner tablet before so I was excited to see this in the box! I also love the smell of bergamot! That, mixed with mandarin and grapefruit, is really invigorating. The information booklet leads you to the website for instructions: “Fill bowl or sink with very hot water. Drop in 1 toner tablet. Drape a towel over your head and bowl/sink.” When I dropped this tablet into a bowl of hot water it reacted like a bath bomb, fizzing as it dissolved. The scent release was really strong. The steam from this felt great on my skin and was really relaxing. I didn't notice a huge difference with my skin but overall it was a nice, spa-like experience.

Verdict: I've really enjoyed all the products I've tried from Fortune Cookie Soap. I was happy to see more of the whipped cream in this box but it was nice to have so many new products included as well! I loved the inclusion of a candle and I really liked trying their detangler and toner. I always look forward to their collection themes and Be Our Guest is such a great theme with the new Beauty and The Beast movie coming out. I loved all the packaging and names! One thing I really like about Fortune Cookie Soap is that this box gives you a nice sampling of the scents and then they release a more extensive line around the same theme. So if there's a scent you really love, you can pick up a few different items from their extended collection!

What do you think of the Fortune Cookie Soap Spring Box?

I really wish this box wouldn’t have been solded out when I tried to sub to it! I would have loved to get it. But hopefully summer will be just as amazing, since that will be my first box.

Zara

This was my second seasonal box from them and I adore their perfume oils. The one from this month is so floral and beautiful, I want to rub it on everything.

Will someone be doing reviews of their month-to-month box? I got the one for February and getting 7 full-sized items for $28 (the give you the first month’s shipping fee for free) was the best investment!

I’ve been wanting to get this box for the longest! I always go to their site and browse. I’m just not into paying and waiting

This is a really cute box. I can tell that a lot of time is put into the theme and packaging. I like boxes that take time to make a nice box, rather than rush to do it monthly. Plus handmade products from a small maker take a lot of time to craft.

I can’t decide what my favorite item is from this box. When I wear the oil, I receive so many compliments. And that lip balm smells so goo that I find myself applying it just to smell it…LOL.
Good tip on using the cream as a hand cream.
I love that the hand sanitizer doesn’t have the alcohol smell.
I love this sub!

I was super excited to get this box myself. It was my first box and I’m so glad I subscribed. The box and items are tiny (the box is slightly smaller than the sephora play box – and has more items in it) .You forgot to mention you also get a $10 off coupon for anything in the store (but shipping cost me $6.40).
I too had never seen the toner tablet before. I had a head cold and used the tablet then. It did give me sinus relief for a short time too. And my skin felt calm. And the scent didn’t appear to strong (but I did have a sinus cold) I was concerned that the “spring” would be too floral in scent for me (liking the winter scents more) but I enjoyed most items and may gift a few. They are adorable. — I used the coupon to get some of the more unique products (such as the toner tablet and the menthol steam me up scotty shower item) from the store. Can’t wait to see the next quarter’s box!

You are probably better by now (I hope so!) but you should check out Puriya Breathe-Easy Balm (found on Amazon). It’s a little pricier than Vick’s and that kind of thing, but it smells much better – smoother, and mixed with lavender… it’s just not nearly as harsh, and lasts a long time. They have a guarantee in case it doesn’t work for you, but it’s wonderful! It is only olive oil, beeswax, and essential oils, too, so you’re not getting a bunch of weird chemicals…

Thanks for the suggestion. I’ll try it in the future (I am better, thanks)
I have had a terrible problem with my feet – scaly skin, blisters, etc. I had doctors prescribe cortisone cream that helps temporarily, but I don’t want to use it long term. A friend recommended the vicks and it’s doing the trick!
