Birchbox Man is a monthly grooming and lifestyle subscription box for men. Each month, you’ll receive 3-4 sample size items to try along with another lifestyle item that you can select. Tretorn Socks – Value $20 for both
I couldn’t find these exact socks online – so I’m going off of last month’s value of 2 pairs of socks.
Each month, you’ll be able to choose one of your items. Typically, you’ll have 3 choices of men’s lifestyle items. If you follow my reviews, you won’t be surprised that this month I chose the socks!
This month’s socks are a thicker crew sock and not a dress sock – I was excited for that as the cold weather and snow has returned – it’s time again for warm socks.
Olivina Napa Valley All-in-One Body Wash – 2 oz – Value $2 (based on $16 full-size item)
My favorite item this month is an all-in-one body wash. The scent, Bourbon Cedar, goes along nicely with my favorite brand, Das Boom, and their types of scent. It pairs nicely! It has no parabens, phthalates, SLS, or silicones.
Kiehl’s Oil Eliminator 24 Hour Anti-Shine Moisturizer – .5 oz – Value $5.40 (based on $27 full-size item)
Kiehl’s is a common brand for Birchbox Man – this month I received an Oil Eliminator. My face is always super oily so I need something like this, and it works great with a minor scent. To me, the scent is almost like that of a sunscreen. While I don’t like the scent, if it works – that’s more important!
Billy Jealousy Assassin Exfoliating Scrub – .3 oz – Value $4.41 (based on $25 full-size item)
Another common brand is Billy Jealousy – this month is a deep exfoliating scrub! I ALWAYS need more of this stuff for the shower. Again, I have an oily face, so this stuff is pretty necessary along with my Foreo – it works wonders. It has a nice citrus scent as well.
Olivina Napa Valley Bourbon Cedar Cologne Sample – Full-Size Value $40
To go along with the Bourbon Cedar body wash, you’ll also get Bourbon Cedar cologne!
It’s the typical sample size bottle. I’m not a cologne person – but I do really enjoy the scent of this one (just like the body wash!), it’s even got a hint of leather scent. If there was a cologne targeted at me, it’s this one.
Verdict: I’ve been loving Birchbox Man since I’ve started to review it. The add-on selection item is always the tipping point for me – the item is typically worth close to the cost of your box – so if you find something you like, you’ll be getting these other items for free. I’ve also loved sampling new products. I’m hardly brand-loyal, but I’ve discovered a few brands or items that I’ve re-purchased, so it’s value for me.
