I love lipstick queen and dr jart masks, but 58 is way too much. At maybe 35 I’d be tempted, but with their price inflation and overpriced samples, easy pass. I love bitchbox, but their overinflation to give the semblance of a better deal makes me reluctant to buy anything from them.

I was scrolling down after seeing the spoilers, expecting to see a price of $20 or $25! Then reading the comments and I see that I’m not alone in thinking the price was greatly inflated and this box is simply Waaaay overpriced for what you get. What are you thinking, birchbox?!

The Gimme10 code works for this box if you haven’t used the code yet. The code is good until this Friday March 10th. If you weren’t aware BB extended the time frame because so many people received their Feb. boxes the day or after the original expiration date.

I just received mine today on Monday March 13, 2017. Three days after coupon expires. Not very professional.

Is it really $178? $58 seems priced a bit too high because I just don’t see $178? Box looks cute and I’m very tempted though 🙁

Easy pass. Too expensive and repeat of constant trays.

Each box contains:
Draper James Large Zip Pouch
Draper James Trinket Tray
Dr. Jart+ Pore Minimalist Black Charcoal Sheet Mask
-1 mask $7.50
L. Erickson Grab & Go Pony Tube – 1 tube (colors will vary) $12
Living proof.® Restore Instant Protection
-Travel-size
Bioderma® Sensibio H2O – Travel-size
Smashbox Cosmetics Indecent Exposure Mascara – Full-size $24
Benefit Cosmetics The POREfessional Face Primer
-Travel-size
Sunday Riley Martian Mattifying Melting Water-Gel Toner
-Sample-size
Ouai Treatment Masque – Travel-size
Lipstick Queen Eden Lipstick – Full-size $24
So $68.50 for full size products. $15 for the five sample and travel size products or lets make it $20 because 5 of these you could buy at the birch box store for $15. That’s still under a hundred bucks… how much do they think they trinket tray and pouch should retail?
I like the box and think it’s adorable but I can’t stand when they inflate the value to such a degree that it make you feel like an idiot for even buying it because it gives them the impression that you’re buying into their lies.

Thanks for the enumrations 🙂 The tray and pouch must be really high quality and expensive for them to be $178.
Your comments make me second thought if I should click buy 🙂

It’s not a bad deal, it’s just not a great one. I would wait till it’s on sale or they have a decent discount code. I always try to do the breakdown… Sephora does the same thing sometimes their value boxes are a steal and other times if you break them down they aren’t worth it for the products you didn’t love to begin with.
