Now, onto the items!

Jersey Shore Cosmetics Mongongo Organic Lip Conditioner – Value $15

I’ve sampled this lip balm through Ipsy before (it’s one of my favorite ipsy discoveries), and I was thrilled to get the extra large version of this balm.

If you aren’t familiar with this lip balm, it’s all organic, super moisturizing, and the vanilla coconut cream flavor is fab!

Lauren Brooke Cosmetiques Organic Intensive Skin Therapie – Value $11.50

This is a balm designed to “soothe & heal dry, cracked lips, hands or feet.” I’m used to balms like this in jars, so the pump dispenser is a nice change! It’s made with organic and natural ingredients, and the blend of oils makes for a rich cream. It doesn’t absorb immediately but is perfect for dry skin that is really in need!

Parlo Cosmetics Moisturizing Shave Cream in Sweet Lime Coconut – Value $10

This shave cream has a foamy consistency and the coconut lime scent is nice and subtle. I’m still addicted to my Schick Intuition razor blades, but this is a nice backup!

Sugar Dunk Mini Dunk Sampler – Value $25

This is AWESOME! The packaging is so cute, and I get to try four different body scrubs? YES!

Sugar Dunk Moon Salt Lemon Lavender Body Scrub

Sugar Dunk Morning Glory Orange Vanilla Body Scrub

Sugar Dunk Mud Pie Cinnamon Coffee Body Scrub

Sugar Dunk Pretty ‘N’ Pink Mint Grapefruit Body Scrub

After sampling them all, I can’t pick a favorite scent – they are all equally awesome! The formula is great, too. It isn’t oily at all, but when I washed away the scrub my skin was noticeably moisturized! Now I think I need to sign up for their monthly subscription!

Verdict: This box has a value of about $61.50. That’s good for a $32.95 natural beauty box that works with smaller brands and etsy makers. I think this box is great for discovering natural beauty brands that usually aren’t too pricey.

Plus I really love every single item this month! The scrubs and the lip balm are my favorites, though!

What do you think of the January Terra Bella Box? What was your favorite item?

  1. I finally tried this box. There was an amazing deal offered so I jumped on it. Well, I received what they referred to as a “welcome” box. Not sure if the one I received was indicitive of what their boxes are usually like, but in MY OPINION, this box is in no way worth the price they charge for it. So I cancelled, cannot even afford to give it another month. 😔😯

  2. I am BRAND NEW to MSA and subbing. Loving it. Where have you been all my life. I LOVE this January Box. Do you think it would still be available?

  3. Oh no! This box is nice too! That balm and the set of body scrubs are so nice. I’d use everything. It may not be the cheapest box but it’s really nice.

  4. This box is too expensive, needs to be $20.

    • Yeah, 3-4 items for $32.95?? I know the contents are most likely very quality items…… but $32.95??!! I just cannot justify spending that much every month on luxury items for myself. If it were 20.00 or even 21.00, 22.00 I would purchase. But not 32.95. 😭😭😭

  5. Really nice box and they say coffee scrub is good for reducing cellulite and tightening up those parts we love to be tight, lol.. 😉

  6. I want this box SOOOOO bad. But I simply cannot afford the price. The “coupon” for an extra item is just kinda useless to me. 😔😢 If they offered a true discount (at least 10% off) I would definitely try it.
Come onnnnnnn Terra Bella give me a GREAT discount so I can afford to try it and then I’ll fall in love with it and HAVE to keep subscribing!! 🙄👌👍

  7. Lauren Brooke Cosmetics makes an amazing lash serum, I use it on my brows and I really think it helped grow them, it made my brows soft and not so unruly as well, highly recommend!

  8. If this was the February box, I would order it.

  9. Those Sugar Dunk Samplers are so cute– I think that Mailbox Mommy also included this set in their Dec or Jan Box.

    • Thank you. I was wracking my brain trying to figure out where I had seen them recently. I want to try them but I only see them for full price everywhere plus shipping. I will have to look at the swap boards.

  10. I loved the orange scrub but when I went to use it the other day it smelled really bad. I was disappointed that it spoiled so quickly. That’s one of biggest problems with products now that so many are paraben free. Personally, my research doesn’t show a true health related reason to not use it. I much rather see cruelty-free products.

    • I think there are so much more chemicals to look out for than parabens but for me, better safe than sorry. Cruelty free is good but ingredient sourcing is important to consider as well.

    • I agree. Products spoiling is soooo much more of a health risk than parabens, which have not been proven to cause any health problems.

  11. Great review. Any chance you will review their makeup box?

  12. This box looks awesome! Will have to see another review but there is a chance I might be getting it next month lol

    • February review coming soon! 🙂

  13. Wow, this box is incredible. How have I not noticed this sub before? I added 4 new subs this month. I’m going to have to wait until I cancel one before I sub to a new one but this is going to be the new one when it’s time.
