This month's featured brand is Red Flower.

Pearlesque-february-2017-0007

Red Flower Illuminating Rose Collagen Renewal Face Serum - FULL SIZE! Value $86

Pearlesque-february-2017-0009

This serum is designed to "enhance collagen and reduce signs of environmental damage, create glow and fully awaken skin." It's a rich oil, and it took a few minutes to fully absorb into my skin, but it feels lovely and left my skin very soft.

Pearlesque-february-2017-0012

Red Flower Lymphatic Phytopower Sea Cleanser and Masque - Travel Size (32.5 ml) Value $7

This is a gentle, creamy, non-foaming cleanser. You can also use it as a mask - just leave a thin layer on for 15 minutes. (This is one of those frustrating samples where the product isn't easy to get out of the container - you may need to use a q-tip or some other tool!)

Pearlesque-february-2017-0010

Red Flower Active Organic Milk Forest Purifier - Travel Size (32.5 ml) Value $7

This is another cleanser, but it's a different experience. This oil cleanser foams, and it did an excellent job of making my skin feel clean. I was thinking it might leave my skin moisturized because of the oil ingredients, but if anything it left my skin craving the next item!

Pearlesque-february-2017-0014

Red Flower Arctic Berry Cloud Milk Cream - Travel Size (50 g) Value $7

Pearlesque-february-2017-0015

I assumed this was a body cream, but according to Red Flower, you can use it as both a body cream and a face cream. I really like the Arctic Berry scent, and this cream is hydrating without being too heavy.

Verdict: This box has a retail value of $107. I think that's a great value for a $40 beauty box that sends you natural and organic beauty brands! The full-size serum is a win and the milk cream is a good size, too.

I tried the code ‘PEARL10’ but the site says that code is not active. 🙁 Did anyone else try the code?

I’m loving these Red Flower products and here is how I’ve been using them this week before bed:
Start with the Active Organic Milk Forest Purifier (oil type cleanser) – per the tip on the card, I put a small amount of purifier on a gently wash cloth with hot water and compress over my face to open pores and loosen make-up and then gently wipe. Keep in mind that this cleanser if ideal for normal, combination or oily skin. My skin is dry but I’ve been using it anyway.
Then I immediately follow with the Lymphatic Sea Cleanser/masque – yes, it’s hard to get out of the travel container so I store it upside down. It’s very soothing and moisturizing to me.
Illuminating Rose Collagen Renewal Serum comes next – it feels really good and seems to be making my skin soft. (Not sure I’d buy at full price right now because I have a small stash of oils and serums to get through but I wouldn’t rule out for the future.)
Last comes the Arctic Berry Cloud Cream – I really like using this on my face – after letting the serum soak in for a minute or 2 – so I haven’t tried it on my body. I also may see what happens if I use this first and then the serum but I’m worried it will negate the effectiveness of the serum… As Donna said, the cream + serum may be too heavy for some people but my dry skin + winter = wonderful! 🙂

I found that the serum worked best if it was treated as a facial oil. It is very rich (not heavy) but if you use it followed by an oil and/or moisturizer, like you would a regular serum, then it is too much product and heavy. Love all the products from this box, though!

Hmmm… I don’t know. I love anything face related but I’m not sold completely. I’m going to have to do some research. My face has been acting up lately (pre-meno crazy face) lol.

Check out Caroline Hirons website- carolinehirons.com. She has heaps and heaps of very clear, helpful, and non-sponsored information on how to care for skin during changes during life. She’s brilliant! Her advice has changed my skin.

Do you the serum lives up to its claims?

Do you *think* the serum delivers..?

I’ve only used it a few times now, but I definitely think my skin is looking better with it. (This could just be me looking for improvements, though.) Hope that helps a bit!
