Panda Pals tween plan comes with two pair of socks “…size 6-8 which ranges between ages 9-11.” My daughter has a big foot for a 7-year-old and while the kid’s size still fit her, I noticed some socks we received were a little small so we moved up a size. The tween socks are a little bit big but I’d rather have them a little big then a bit too small.  These are the two pair of socks included this month for girls.

I wish we had enough snow to actually be skiing with these “Unstoppable” socks but not this year! We like these socks anyway. The colors are bright and fun and even though this month seems like a more unisex month in terms of design, Cira still likes both pairs.

We’ve been watching Cosmos (it’s amazing!) on Netflix this month so Cira was excited to receive these outer space socks.

These socks are made from 85% Peruvian cotton, 10% nylon and 5% spandex. They have a nice soft touch. Our Panda Pals socks wash well and we’ve seen very little fading of colors. They aren’t as thick as some of socks we have (i.e. The Gap) but they have a lot more stretch to them so I have a feeling Cira will be able to wear these for a longer time period.

Verdict: We think Panda Pals is such a fun way to get something useful. This is our second month getting the Tween size and we really love the designs on these socks.

As for the value, printed socks range in price from about $4.00 to almost $10.00 per pair depending on where you buy them. These socks are $8.00 a pair and depending on your kid’s sock size, they can be worn for many years. Plus, for every pair new subscription Panda Pals donates a pair of socks to someone in need. Sure, you can get cheaper socks but these are fun and unique and the designs are great! We like Panda Pals.
