In late January I decided to finally take the ipsy plunge because I saw one of those “skip the waitlist” ads on the side of a post in MSA. I clicked on it, filled out my info and then sent them an email requesting a pick for my February bag (assuming that would be my first one). They responded and said they’d give me my February pick and within a week they actually put together a January bag for me and sent that too (after they charged me of course)! So I’m not sure about how “real” the waitlist is all the time….or why some people would have to do something on social media too. Weird. Maybe part of the “skip the waitlist” thing is that you shouldn’t have to jump through hoops with social media?!?!

They are very partial to people with social media accounts. That is only way to enter their contests too. It’s why I am not a fan.

You can just post to yourself – it can be set to private not public.

FYI. You cannot get off the wait list unless you refer someone on face book or twitter. I don’t have either of those accounts. Boo hoo.

Create a fake account, login using that, post on a fake wall, refer yourself and you’ll get in.

Jody, I got my bag today and I will use the mascara but not the liquid eyeliner or marsk eyeshadow I received. I don’t like the bag and unfortunately my dog ate my luxe blush brush (my fault, I put it on bed and walked away…oops). I did open and swatch the eyeshadow but poured it in your hand. If you would like these items I will send to you no strings attached. Just message back and I will send you my email info.

Is this Wendy I did the swap with?

Lunalee

Yes, just ask them to take you off and that you don’t want to do the social media part. I did that and they took me off the same day.

Just write in to customer service, the most likely will help you with that
