Trunk Club is a clothing styling service for both men and women. Subscribers work closely with their stylist to find a selection of pieces to try on at home, and they receive a trunk shortly thereafter. Trunks can be ordered as often as you like, so you can try it once, or have a trunk sent to you quarterly or monthly. Or even more frequently! There is a $25 styling fee which is credited towards whatever you decide to keep.
Trunk Club is a Nordstrom company, and they send similar brands that range in the $75-300 range. In the style profile, you can choose your preferred price range for each category (ie. $50-100, $100-200, or $200+)

This packet was also included in my trunk. So first, a little more about how Trunk Club works. When I signed up, I took a pretty lengthy style questionnaire online. Then I was matched with a stylist, Kelly, who asked me even more about what I like and what I was looking for via an online chat. Based on this information, she selected five items for me to try on at home. She then sent me a link to preview all my items! This month I decided to try everything she selected.
This is a note from my stylist, Kelly. She explains why she chose the items she chose, but what's important here is that she actually was available to chat online beforehand with me, and she references our discussion. I love this level of personalized service!
This is my invoice. It lists the items I was sent and the cost to keep each item. My $25 styling fee will be deducted from anything I decide to keep. There is also a reminder to provide feedback on their web site or app about how well each item worked for me.
On the back of the invoice are instructions for returning the items I don't want to keep. I can drop my box back off at any UPS location, or I can schedule a free pickup through the Trunk Club app!
These items were also in the packet. When I've finished repackaging the items I don't want to keep in the box, I just put this return label on it and use the tape straps to tape it back up! So convenient!
Raglan Sleeve Mesh Top by Bobeau - Cost to keep $49
I never would have picked this out for myself, but now that I've tried it, I absolutely love it! It's true, I am partial to dark colors, but I've never had any type of raglan shirt that looked good on me. I'm seriously thinking I should keep this one.
Stripe Knit Jacket by Sejour - Cost to keep $99
This jacket is kind of perfect. It's a knit material, but it's still pretty sturdy and has structure. I didn't think the light color (or the horizontal stripes) would work on me, but looking at the picture, I can't really see why not. I like it!
V-Neck Sweater by Sejour - Cost to keep $79
This sweater is a super soft acrylic blend, and my husband really likes it. Unfortunately, I don't like it. I think it's too long, and this aqua color has traditionally been one of the most magnifying colors on me. I might be biased from previous bad experiences with aqua though, I'm not sure.
Knot Front Top by City Chic - Cost to keep $69
I like this chiffon top! It's professional enough to wear to work, but just a little sexy. It's a good length for me, too.
Peasant Top by City Chic - Cost to keep $69
I really like the design and the idea of this second chiffon top, and white is probably my favorite light color to wear. I wanted this to work really badly, but it just doesn't fit right on me. (That's the shirt sagging!)
Verdict: This was another great package from Trunk Club! I specifically asked for tops, and Kelly delivered some really good choices. I consider three out of five wins really pretty good, and I think that's what I have here. I also love trying new things, and I was so pleasantly surprised this month by the mesh top. I am becoming a big fan of Trunk Club!
