Each month of The Collector’s Case has a theme or featured franchise(s). This month was all about Pokemon.

It comes with a card made to look like a manilla folder. Inside, you’ll find all the details of each item in your box.

Pikachu Throw – Value $20 on Amazon

The first item is a throw featuring the most famous Pokemon character of them all – Pikachu.

It’s 46×60 inches and 100% polyester. While it’s not really heavy, it is really soft and cozy.

Tomy Pocketmonster Pokeball + Pokemon – Value $10 on Amazon

You’ll receive your very own Pokeball and Pokemon.

It looks like I receive Ivysaur as my Pokemon – who did you get?

The Pokeball comes with a lanyard, but is also mechanical. It’ll open up to hide away your Pokemon for future battles.

Pokemon Deck Box – Value $6 on Amazon

The next item is a card deck from UltraPRO’s Pokemon trading card game.

Pokemon TCG Booster Packs – Value $6 on Amazon

You’ll also receive two booster packs to get your card collection started.

Add both products together and you’ve got your collection started.

Pokemon Party Accessories – Value ?

They included Pokemon gift bags, decoration, and a candle for your next PokeParty.

Yo-Kai Watch Dog Tag Packs – Value $8 on Amazon (based on 3-Pack)

You’ll also get these Yo-Kai watch dog packs sets.

Each includes stickers, tattoos, and a dog tag.

Here’s a closer look at the tag itself.

And here is the second set.

BONUS Mystery Dorbz – Wonder Woman – Value $10 on Amazon

This month, I got a mystery bonus vinyl – which turned out to be a Wonder Woman Dorbz figure from Batman vs Superman.

I do love that she’s sporting the sword!

Verdict: This month was packed with smaller items and seemed geared towards a younger audience. That being said, I can see how a Pokemon fan could appreciate the little things even if they were a little older than the age range. Since I’m not a Pokemon player, this month was a miss for me personally.

What did you think of the December box from The Collector’s Case?

  1. As someone who started with Pokemon Red and is now on Pokemon Moon, I thought there were some great items in the box. My favorites were the cards, Ivysaur, and definitely the throw. I just wish that we got like a plush or second figure instead of the party supplies or Yokai, those were kind of weird for me too. I did love that the cards seemed to be the same as the cards I would anxiously wait for as a ten or eleven year old. I was really into Pokemon since before the big wave in the UK, but yeah…there were some odd picks. I did get a Gremlins Dorbz though so that was a great addition

  2. Now as an avid Pokemon Go player, I’d be thrilled with this theme! But, that said, the dog tags and party supplies were for 5 yr olds – not collectors! There is so much more they could have done like socks, beanie hats, pins, etc. This box would have been a meh for even me!
