Big changes to the Nerd Block subscription for 2017! The items are now selected across a theme, with new packaging and a mini magazine!

This month was all about Iron Man!

The info cards are now all gone – instead, you’ll be able to browse this mini magazine.

If you subscribe to other geek boxes, you’ll be familiar with the format of this magazine. I’m glad to see them move towards something a bit more detailed!

Iron Man Blueprint Shirt – Value $15?

This month, everything is exclusive to Nerd Block. This month’s shirt shows off some Tony Stark blueprints for an early suit.

Stark Industries Whiskey Glass 2-Pack – Value $20-25?

I was a bit surprised to find these in the box this month – in a good way.

These glasses have an etched Stark Industries logo in the glass.

 These reminded me of the glassware from the initial Loot Crate DX delivery. That’s a pretty great item to receive in a normal tier geek box!

Engraved Drinking Stones – Value $15?

What’s better to go with your drinking glasses than some Iron Man drinking stones!

There are 4 different designs for each granite cube. These are about the size of a normal die piece, may slightly bigger.

Iraon Man 3D Molded Mask Magnet – Value $5?

The next Iron Man item is a mini mask for your refrigerator.

This magnet is about 2 inches tall and looks like it’s hand painted on porcelain. The painting itself it’s the most precise, as well.

Arc Reactor Pin – Value $5-10?

The final Iron Man item of the box is an Arc Reactor pin.

This is definitely a pin that makes the most sense in an Iron Man box!

Verdict: There were a lot of changes for Nerd Block in the beginning of 2017 and this certainly feels like a bit of a different box. I;m always very much in favor of a theme – and the fact that this one was such a specific theme – Stark Industries – was even better. I’m really excited to see what’s next for all the different Nerd Block lines in 2017!
