This month’s theme is Home for the Holidays. From My Texas Market:

‘Tis the season for food and festivities with the ones you love. In celebration of the holiday season, we’ve put together a box of cozy Christmas goodies with just the right amount of Tex-Mas added in. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, from our family to yours.

My Texas Market always includes an info card with details about the items included in the box. This month, there were 5 items included, and they gave a little background about the artisans and the items.

Jammit Jam – Cherry Clove Cabernet – Value $8.00

This jam…it’s amazing. I love the complex flavors of the clove and cabernet mixed with the sweet cherry. I ate this on a biscuit, but I think it would be amazing with cheese as well – I’m picturing brie, but Jammit recommends Gouda, which is probably outstanding as well!

The Barton Table – Peppermint Chocolate Sauce – Value $9.99

I dipped my marshmallows in this before dunking them in my hot chocolate – it was really good. The peppermint flavor is quite strong, though, so if that’s not something you’ll enjoy, use this sparingly!

Michele’s Marshmallows – Value $8.00

As I said above, I dipped this marshmallow in the peppermint chocolate sauce and added it to a cup of hot cocoa. It melted into my hot chocolate just as it should and it tasted delicious!

Look at all that deliciousness – this was the perfect mid-afternoon snack – hot cocoa and a warm biscuit with yummy jam.

Bleu Willow Market – Texas Wooden Ornament – Value $7.00?

This ornament made a really cute addition to my Mom’s Christmas present. I used this ornament along with some twine, kraft paper, and washi tape. I really love the way it came out.

Kuhdoo Soap Co. – Shiner Holiday Cheer Beer Soap – Value $6.00?

This soap is crafted from coconut oil, raw honey, and Shiner Holiday Cheer Beer. I really enjoyed the scent of this soap and it was very moisturizing.

Verdict: The estimated value of this box from My Texas Market is $38.99. My Texas Market is one of my favorite boxes – I love their curation, the products, and the fact that they always stick to their themes. This box really screamed “Tex-mas” to me, and all of the products were great quality and delicious.

Have you tried My Texas Market?

Bekki first discovered subscription boxes in 2014 and they quickly took over her life! (Not quite, but pretty close.) She started with POPSUGAR Must Have, then moved to Little Lace Box, Birchbox, Hamptons Lane…the rest was history. Her favorite product find is Beekman 1802 Fudge (so, so good) and her favorite boxes are Birchbox and Hamptons Lane…but she’s always looking for a new subscription to try!
