Resident Evil 7 Shirt - Value 415?

This month's exclusive shirt lines up with the release of Resident Evil 7. Resident Evil 7 is the first RE game to be in first-person. Personally, I've always preferred a third-person perspective to a first-person, but I think I'm in the minority. I did try out the VR demo of this game, and it was pretty jarring - being face-to-face and feeling like you're in the game was awesome and just absolutely scary - horror games will be amazing in VR!

Psychonauts Googles - Value $20?

Up next is a unique item for the box! These goggles are pulled straight from the game Psychonauts' leading character Raz. Psychonauts came out in 2005 - but, there is a sequel and VR game coming out this year - I think it's time to go back and play the original!

What I like most about this item is that it goes with their original intention of this box - pull items out of a game and bring them to us - more of this!

Proto Man Helmet - Value $10-15?

The next item is a little vinyl collectible helmet from Mega Man! This Loot Crate exclusive version features the Proto Man helmet.

We received the original blue Mega Man helmet in the past - so this will be perfect to add to the collection.

Portal Companion Cube Tie - Value $20?

The last item in the box is a wearable item, for a more dressy occasion.

This Portal-themed tie features a companion cube all-over print. I was hoping for something a bit more fun for Portal - and I thought the inverted companion cube box was a fun idea, so I was a little bit disappointed to find a tie.

Verdict: I think this month was just ok for Loot Gaming. That being said, the Psychonauts goggles were a smart and fun entry into this box - and goes well with their original intention - I hope to see more items like that this year. But, overall, it felt like it might be missing a hero item - although, not being a huge fan of the franchises this month, I could be slightly biased.

You biased alright but towards lootcrate. I love all the franchises this month but I couldn’t hate the contents more. The goggles are cheap and nothing special, the helmet is meh and everything else is trash. The Resident Evil looks like a freebie they got at a convention. Loot crate needs to step it up, their gaming line is the worst.

The reviews are very biased.

I want that Resident Evil shirt if anyone happens to get either a men’s large or women’s xxl and would like to swap!

Amanda

I posted a men’s large in the swap section for trade.

How are the quality of the goggles? are they good? are they cheap dollar store plastic?

I’d say it’s middle of the road. It’s plastic, but I wouldn’t consider it dollar store, but it’s also not good enough to be protective eyewear.

I would think these would work best for Cosplay than anything else.
