I am embarrassed that I subscribe to this box! I’ve received 4 Luxor boxes ( 2 “regular” ones, 1 limited edition, 1 mystery) so far and none have included things I was hoping for- luxe bags and RM tumblers. The values assigned are grossly exaggerated. The diffuser this month was something my grandmother might have received from Avon or the hallmark store as a free gift. I had to laugh when I read the English-as-a-second-language literature that came with it- that was the best part of the box. I swapped the diffuser for about $50 worth of stuff on the swap site- I would have felt bad asking for $69.
The glasses are a joke, and make me appreciate the Koda Bosta ornaments I got in my other boxes less. Wish I had never subscribed to this box.

This was my final box. I really liked the diffuser when I saw the spoiler and was excited to use it. Unfortunately in reality the scent is barely discernible (I got tulip) once applied to the diffuser, even after dumping over half the bottle on it. Kind of a disappointment. While I wasn’t over the moon about dish towels and glasses, I did love the bracelet as I do with all Halcyon Days pieces. The chilling cubes were an interesting inclusion and something my husband will really enjoy using with the occasional glass of scotch, but not something I consider particularly luxe or feminine by any stretch. Besides I don’t sub to this one for hubby anyway! 😂😂 I’ve mostly enjoyed my boxes this past year but can’t continue to justify the price relative to what I receive. I’ll just be keeping my eye on LE boxes in the future.

I’ve been on the fence about canceling this box. It usually includes at least one or two items that I really like, but often they are not the “high value” items in the box, and I’ve gotten tired receiving items from the same 4 vendors repeatedly – too similar. Now I wish I’d pulled the plug, as this box was a complete miss for me. An expensive complete miss.
I don’t particularly dislike the items (except for the $70 overpoweringly strong White Gardenia diffuser I received), but they just aren’t worth the values assigned. I have dishtowels and ice cubes that are the same in all material respects but were much cheaper, and I have similar bangles that were 1/4 of the price of this one (and I prefer silver anyway).
Of course, Murphy’s law – once I cancel, they’ll send a box that I love!

this is my third box from luxor and i’m unsubscribing after receiving this. honestly, i can see how it would appeal to some people, but so few of the items have actually seemed worthwhile to me. i’m keeping the glasses for a friend who will actually use them, and i’m putting the diffuser in my car since i like the scent, but the rest is up on the swapping site. in all reality none of this is anything i’d buy for myself. the diffuser’s rv is a joke and it sounds like the kosta boda glasses’ listed rv is inflated. i get that the halcyon days jewelry is always a big hit but i don’t buy expensive jewelry in general (though i’ve gotten luxury pieces from PSMH that i love) and HD bangles are proof to me that sometimes things just aren’t worth the pricetag.

This is my first box and I love the bracelet, towels & glasses are cute but I don’t think this box was worth it yet. I’m hoping the next one is a bit better.

Received my box today and am pleased. Wasn’t sure about the glasses and towels but the glasses are called Friendship and I know exactly who I am going to gift them to along with the towels. Received the bracelet in cream which is what I had hoped for. Not everything in Luxor boxes are my taste but always seem to make nice and appreciated gifts.

I always contemplate this box and then I’m nearly always thankful I don’t sub to it. This box looks like a complete miss for me. Seems like an odd mix of items and nothing I like personally.

I completely agree. To me the “intimacy diffuser” and the home towels look like something from the dollar store (OK, well, maybe from the $3 section of the dollar aisle at Target, so a small step up from the dollar store 😉 ) Neither of those, nor really even the friendship glass, seem luxe to me. The bangle is luxe, but not really my taste…though I know they do really well on the swap site.

They sell those towels in specialty shops around here for about $8-$10. I have a few that I’ve received as gifts. They are good quality, but not something I would buy for myself. Those glasses are definitely not worth $20 each.

They are 8.00 each on the Kosta Boda site if you want to grab a few.
