I can definitely tell they’re at least looking at my preferences. But I received more theBalm, which is my fault because I forgot to un mark it. If I never see them again it’d be too soon lol I’m so sick of getting bronzer and theBalm stuff. I never use it. So corrected my profile and will definitely review accordingly. Fingers cross the reign of theBalm terror is over lol

Ugh, the Balm! Lol. And I even unchecked it a couple months ago. How does anyone fit a blush brush in that tiny square opening. 🤔

Reply ButtonReply

Ali

I am getting the Kate lip balm if anyone wants to swap!

Reply ButtonReply

Jennifer

It looks like the full spoilers are up on Ipsy’s site. I’ve gotta say, I’m not too thrilled with the bag I am receiving this month.

Reply ButtonReply

Tarrian

Wow that sounds by. Can I request all items in bag or just 1?

Reply ButtonReply

Jackie

Your only able to request 1 item. But at least your guaranteed to love at least 1 out of 5 items you receive 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

Precious

How do you request an item?

Juli

There was one time I got a bag and they sent me all the products shown.

Jackie

I received an e-mail from ipsy regarding a choice for Feb 2017 if anyone is interested. 😊

Thanks for writing!

I’d be happy to help you handpick one of your products for next month. I’ve picked out some of our favorite products from February’s Glam Bag selection:

–NYX Butter Lipstick in ‘Ripe Berry’ or ‘Lifeguard’

–Lord & Berry Eyeliner in ‘Dark Black’
–SOO AE Sheet Mask Duo
–Luxie Beauty Rose Gold Blush Brush #514
–Briogeo Rosarco™ Blow Dry Perfection Heat Protectant Crème

Let me know which one is your top choice before 12pm on the 30th, and I’ll make sure it’s in your February Glam Bag. I hope you’ll love it!

Are these full spoilers or are there more to come?

The it bye bye under eye is AMAZING my mom has some and it makes her looks 10 years younger and it covers better than and concealer ever. I would like the naked eyeshadow and the Clinique makeup remover also! This bag looks great

Reply ButtonReply

Geena

I’m hoping for the makeup remover too! 🙂

Jennifer

I love the bye bye under eye. It is AMAZING! Also works great as a eyeshadow primer.

Liz Cadman

More to come! 🙂

Ladies, I am having such a difficult time redeeming my Ipsy points. Every time I check their choices, they seem to be labeled “sold out.”

Any suggestions? I’ve written CS and the form letter I received states that they are sorry, and to keep visiting their site – LOL!

Reply ButtonReply

Amy

My suggestion is to keep looking. There doesn’t seem to be any specific schedule. For a little while they were updating them on Wednesdays, but I haven’t seen anything new for over a week. I typically take a look about once a day. They do post on Facebook when they put new Rewards up, so make sure to follow them.

Only things I see that I really want are the Crown brush, the Ciate topcoat, and my faaaaaavorite! Naked mica pigment! They could just send me the pigment and I’d be a happy girl. 😆

Reply ButtonReply

Rlop91

I got all 3!!!😍😍

Reply ButtonReply

Jane

The nail polish could be fun lacquar – king

Reply ButtonReply

Rebecca

Agree. Looks like the bottle of another FUN Lacquer I already have.

Reply ButtonReply

Deeluvsluka

It does look like F.U.N lacquer!! In the Kings shade. Wow love how they have indie brands from different countries. I’m pretty sure this is a Singapore brand:))

Bev

I just cancelled mine 5 min ago and I’m heart broken, I need to save money. O-well sometimes we have to adult. :'(

Reply ButtonReply

Tarrian

Meh. Not to excited hope I a brush.

Reply ButtonReply

Liz G

I want the bye bye concealer!!

Reply ButtonReply

Vanessa

Woohoo! Go ipsy! I would be happy with any of these! 🙂 The least exciting for me is The Balm bronzer, but I opted out of bronzer/countour, so I shouldn’t get it anyways. Yay!!! I also emailed them and requested the pur~lisse Blue Lotus mud mask. Can’t wait to get my bag this month!! 😀

nancy

i hope i get the blush or the top coat..

Reply ButtonReply

shawn masaros

i signed up 2 days after christmas and the next day they took my payment from my cc . boy they are quick to take your money. I sure hope mine is on the way in the mail

Reply ButtonReply

amelie oeun

shawn- they always take out money around the 1st and ship around the 10th(depending on where you live)…. I’m hoping for either of the brushes, the blush, concealer, bb cream and lippie. woot.

Crystal Whitney

I’m pretty surethane that polish is by ILNP ( I love nail polish)

Reply ButtonReply

Michelle

Is it just me or does that lipstick look like the color of baby poo???

Reply ButtonReply

VOH

I keep seeing ppl saying all you have to do is tell ipsy what you don’t want and they’ll switch it up, but I’ve politely asked/begged for no eyeliner and yes please nail polish and I get no polish and quit ipsy after my fourth eyeliner. How do you get them to listen?

Reply ButtonReply

Alyce

I called and spoke to a very informative customer service rep. She told me that my December request for no eye products takes approximately 12 weeks to become effective – as our bags are planned that far out. She also stated that the request was active for a three month period.

Her remarks sounded reasonable – has anyone else been told specifics when they have called CS?

Reply ButtonReply

Marion

I received an e-mail from CS, and have seen confirmation from other copy-pasted e-mails from other CS reps that all state your choices need to be in before the first of the month.

12 weeks is 3 months! Ipsy has such a high volume of subscribers & unsubscribers that there’s no way they could plan that far in advance.

jamie

They DON’T listen! I have literally gotten 7 lipsticks of about the same shade and I kept telling them that I don’t wear lipstick. All the eye shadows are just about the same color. I have redone my profile I don’t know how many times hoping that they would stop giving me stuff I have no need for, but they continued, so I cancelled 🙁

Reply ButtonReply

Marion

The opt-out service has only been offered for a couple months. You have to e-mail customer service directly, not just fill out the survey.

Becca

That’s really strange. I have opted out for three months now and everything I opted out of I have not received again. I opted out of any nail products for the duration of my subscription and opted out of bronzer/contour and eyeshadow. Last month I changed my opt out list to include eyeliner but no eyeshadow. I also requested lip products and now get them every month. They have been letting me pick a specific item monthly as Well. You should contact them again and let them know you have been getting products you opted out of. They sent me a free gift after I complained about receiving nail polish every month even though I reviewed and said I didn’t want any.

Reply ButtonReply

Lauren

And I always receive nail polish and would prefer eyeliner. I’ve said no nail polish over and over and continue to receive it, we should swap.

Reply ButtonReply

Sara

I hate blush and yet i keep getting it, even after i review the product and basically give it a one star. Whats the actual point of reviewing? Really hoping i dont get any blush or highlight.

Reply ButtonReply

Jackie

Have you e-mailed customer service directly and requested to opt out of blushes and highlighters? I e-mailed them and asked to opt out of hand creams/moisturizer and nail polish and the CS rep told me I would not get those items for 5 months and if I would like, I could eternally opt out of those items, but should you change your mind, you can always email them to opt in to those items if you like. And also, for the last 2 bags, they have given me a list and let me choose 1 item for my bag so at least I’m guaranteed to love at least 1 item 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

V

Do you have to request the list for the next month so that you can choose your item or are they sending it to you automatically? I sent an email about not receiving hair products and she gave me a list at that time and gave me options to opt out. I was wondering how do I know what’s going to be in the next month’s box so that I can make a selection each month ?

VOH

Exactly.

Reply ButtonReply

Caroline M

Hoping for the SLMISSGLAM brush, the Clinique makeup remover, and the naked eyeshadow. I’m hoping that I don’t get any skincare or that tiny bronzer by benefit their samples really anger me! The bag is soooooo pretty! IM SO EXCITED!!

Reply ButtonReply

Irene

Someone PLEASE tell me that’s a FUN nail polish!!! Lol, let the holo gods put one in my bag!!!! Lmao.

Reply ButtonReply

Crystal Whitney

I believe it’s by ILNP (I love nail Polish) I have a rose gold holographic shade by them and I lover it!

Reply ButtonReply

Allison

It has the exact packaging and says F U N for fun lacquer. The lines are in the right spot. I’d bet on it.

Chrystal

Please and thank you! Fingers crossed for the polish for sure 🙂 I get my nails done, but always take my own polish (for sanitary reasons). As long as I receive the polish I don’t care what the other 4 items are!

Reply ButtonReply

Juli

Everything looks great!! I love naked’s products. I wear them everyday. You can create so many looks with their products because they are so pigmative you can wear them anywhere on your face. You can where them on your cheeks, eyes or lips or all over.

Reply ButtonReply

Marion

Ooh, I want EVERYTHING!!!! (Except a blush, but I’ve opted out of those, so yay!)

Reply ButtonReply

Cat

The top pur~lisse item is the Blue Lotus Seed 5-in-1 Mud Mask.

Reply ButtonReply

Jessicups

Please oh please can I get the polish or top coat! Id love both, but id be thrilled with just one. Id also love to try the H2O oasis cream, I need to find a good one. Not super into makeup and so far it seems pretty makeup heavy. If this months a bad one, it might be my last, I have so much hope in Ipsy but find I’m always disappointed. Perhaps its just not the subscription for me, fingers crossed they get it right this month.

Reply ButtonReply

Bonnie

I agree – this isn’t the subscription for you if you don’t want makeup and you do want skincare. Birchbox, Glossybox, and Allure all seem to be much more skin (and hair) care and little to no makuep. But if you really want to try amazing skincare products, subscribe to Look Fantastic. They ship from the UK, their skincare products are great, and most months there is either one or zero makeup items.

Reply ButtonReply

Samantha

BeautyFix also tends to have more skincare than makeup and the value is always great. I don’t subscribe to it simply because I want more makeup than skincare.

Jessicups

I’ve tried birchbox as well, samples are just too small with the loss of the points system. Also ipsy usually has plenty of items I’d like/love, I just have terrible luck haha. I emailed them last month and got to pick an item for this bag, requested that brush since I didn’t want any of the other options and I figured the brush would swap well. I don’t necessarily blame it on Ipsy or anything, just might not be right for me. Who knows, we will see when reveals are up 😀

Reply ButtonReply

Samantha

I actually prefer makeup over skincare and will likely post many of the skincare products I receive on my swap page (except for eye creams), in case you’re interested. I emailed Ipsy and requested that they never again send a toner or face oil to me because I have sensitive skin and they agreed to honor that, so if there are particular kinds of makeup you don’t want, you may want to email and specify that, but I don’t think you can request an all skincare bag. I feel like MSA posts about several beauty subs that contain more skincare than makeup (though can’t think of the names off the top of my head, since I wouldn’t subscribe to these), so you may want to explore a little more!

Marion

I had major envy over the moisturizers I saw in the November & December bags, so I e-mailed to request one for January. I got a response from CS that I’d be getting one, so I hope it’s that!

Reply ButtonReply

BriBri

Jessiecups- I feel the same way. If it doesn’t work out for me in the next 2 boxes I’ll likely try a Korean skin care box . I’d love to get the polishes , hand or face creams too

Reply ButtonReply

Julie E

I love that Ipsy is more makeup! If you like more of the skincare stuff you should try Birchbox.

Reply ButtonReply

Sun

I’d email to let them know you want skin care and not makeup in future bags! I’d rather get makeup.

Reply ButtonReply

Malanie

Everything looks good to me! Hoping I get to try through it cosmetics illuminating concealer because I’ve read mixed reviews so of love to try before I buy!☺

Reply ButtonReply

Samantha

I have the regular IT cosmetics concealer and have mixed feelings about it. It certainly has fuller coverage and brightens my undereye area, but I have large pores and I feel like it builds onto the pores in the area right below my undereye in a way that other concealed don’t, even when I heat it up between my fingers first and use a concealer brush to blend it, so it looks kind of obvious in my opinion. I also think that the IT makeup line may not be a great fit for my skin tone, so that could be why. I’ve had to return a colored powder from them before cause it made me look sickly, and I’m not even pale! I would still be interested to try to illuminating one, and Liz says the IT is the best undereye concealer, so I’ve kept mine in hopes I figure out what I’m doing wrong, lol. I find that the Smashbox undereye BB cream is better for the area below my lower crease, but terrible in the crease, and Maybelline’s Age Rewind Dark Circle Eraser blends better than both and feels lighter and smoother, but also doesn’t have as full coverage. I probably also just need more sleep.
