I do not like that bag at all. I emailed and pleaded for the bye bye under eye and was told I should receive it. Fingers crossed. Those Balm matchboxes make for great eye shadow regardless of what they say the product is for.

I also asked for the Bye Bye Undereye in Light stating they had sent a similar product in the wrong color before so it would be nie to get one I can actually use. They said they were sorry and let me know that I would for sure get the right color this time, they would make sure to send it to me. Yeah… That bag isn’t horrible, MUCH improved over that horrid Dec bag, can you just say cheap plastic fuzzy? ICKA

The bag looks much better in this spoiler than that one on the sidewalk! 🙂 It’s cute and I like the cutouts. I would be happy with any of the samples. I like TheBalm and the size doesn’t really bother me. I haven’t even used up any of the others I have received and I use them often enough.

Love the bag and hoping for the brush.

I want all 5! They make up practically a perfect bag in my opinion.

Oh I love that bag! I really like their bags in general. Last week I emailed and asked if it might be possible to get the Bye Bye Undereye, and to not get any mascara, bronzer, or contour for a few months, and they said no problem.

They also said that they really look at the algorithm that’s set by how people rate the products they’ve gotten, so they can do their best to send each person items they’ll like. I’ve heard (read 🙂 people say that when they keep up on their reviews, what they get is much more in line with their likes. I went back and rated everything I could, tho for some reason it wouldn’t let me rate my first couple of months, May and June. Maybe too much time had passed?

ispy continues to be my favorite beauty bag of the 10-ish I’ve tried so far. To me, they are just plain fun, and I love that.

Yes, too much time has passed. They give us 4 months to review our items and get the points . I love being able to opt out of 3 item types and think this will help our bags be even better!

Aha, so that’s what it is! I even tried a different web browser in case the problem was at my end. I wonder if we’ll be able to opt out of some items with any regularity, or if this is a one-time deal. Guess we’ll see!

Brandi

See, I didn’t find that to be the case at all. I tried them for 8-9 months, rated everything every single time and kept getting stuff I disliked. I felt like there was zero customization. I felt like I kept getting the exact same lip colors and eyeshadows almost every single time.

Yes, colors are the issue I have because most of the ones I receive are too warm for me though I find them beautiful shades and products I’d love in another shade. I just realized that often I rate the item high because I do love the formula, but I mark that I don’t like the color…and then I get more of it. Maybe I need to rate the product overall including color. I did find that reviewing bags helped me get the products I want though. Just not always the right shade since I prefer cooler colors, blue/pink undertoned lipstick and blushes rather than nudes and peaches more people seem to love.

Kimberly B

Oh man, what a bummer! They said that right now they can’t customize colors, but might be able to in the future. I get frustrated with colors because it seems like most of them are nude/neutral, and I don’t like colors like that, I like bright and bold. I’m on the lookout for boxes that carry more of those. I just got my first Medusa’s Make-Up and Glamorous Chicks this month, and am on the waiting list for Notoriously Morbid. Glamorous Chicks lets you choose a couple of your items every month, so I’m really looking forward to that.

I bet almost everyone will get the balm

Yup. So sick of those little matchboxes from the Balm.

Right! Ugh I like all of the options, but I hate how small those dang samples are.
