The Gentleman’s Box includes a small glossy pamphlet with all of the items you receive in the box detailed, as well as a profile of a featured member. This month’s theme is “Honoring Our Favorite Ageless Aussie.” This month, they also included a coupon for PopSugar

One thing to note, and I’m assuming it is because I receive a review box, is that I don’t get the monthly edition of GQ that is usually included. So that is an additional value that you won’t see in my reviews.

Aster Ganos Tie – Listed Value $39.00

This tie is made from 100% cotton. It seems pretty fitting for a summer box (which I’m assuming The Gentleman’s Box was going for with the Aussie theme) – it’s very lightweight and the colors are perfect for warmer months. It’s a thinner tie, so as always, this will look better with smaller knots.

Gentlemen of the North Socks – Listed Value $10.60

It looks like Gentlemen of the North has a monthly sock subscription box! We’ve seen this brand in the Gentleman’s Box previously, with a beanie. These socks are bright robin’s egg blue with gray and black accents. They work well with the theme, since they’re brighter colored, and they held their shape for all day wear!

Trade Union Supply Co. Lip Balm – Listed Value $8.00

This lip balm is very emollient and flavored with mint. I really enjoyed using this and think the formulation is great. I snuck this into my husband’s car for use (he’s resistant to change…even down to the lip balm he uses).

AusCufflinks Lapel Pin – Listed Value $15.00

This lapel pin is crafted from a burlap type fabric and is really attractive. It matches the pocket square (below) and the tie really well. I think this lapel pin would work great for spring, summer, or fall! The petals hold their shape quite well and the pin seems like it will hold up to regular use easily.

OTAA Pocket Square – Khaki Linen – Value $7.53 USD

OTAA is an Aussie brand from Melbourne, Australia. This Pocket Square is crafted from a linen cotton blend and is definitely masculine. No frilly satin here – just rough linen in khaki!

This fabric, because it is so stiff, works perfectly for a pocket square. I think it will add a really nice contrast to a summer weight wool suit and it coordinates perfectly with the tie and lapel pin included.

Verdict: This month’s The Gentleman’s Box has a value of approximately $80.00. Several of the items are from countries other than the U.S., so I converted the prices of the items to USD where possible. I think this box was curated really well and provided a perfect, needed change from the typical winter box – it was a nice switch from all of the holiday boxes for sure!

Bekki first discovered subscription boxes in 2014 and they quickly took over her life! (Not quite, but pretty close.) She started with POPSUGAR Must Have, then moved to Little Lace Box, Birchbox, Hamptons Lane…the rest was history. Her favorite product find is Beekman 1802 Fudge (so, so good) and her favorite boxes are Birchbox and Hamptons Lane…but she’s always looking for a new subscription to try!
