Updates on the Possible December 2016 Target Beauty Box
So many readers have reached out to me about the status of the December Target Beauty Box, I thought it would be helpful to do a general update post.
I chatted Target customer care to try to get more info. As you can see from the screenshot above, it looks like a Target Beauty Box for December should be launching within the week, but there could be a delay. (Not super helpful/specific info, but I think it is safe to say that there WILL be a box this month.)

Looks like they just updated the page with new items including items for both women and men.

It says sold out… does this just mean it hasn’t been posted for sale yet, or did I miss something?

It always says that (in reference to the last box) before the new one is released. You didn’t miss it 😉 Just make sure you are signed up for MSA e-mails so that you get alerts.
If what others say is true, I suspect tomorrow morning!

Thanks for the update! I half expected a box last Monday but was surprised you didn’t post spoilers. Same for this coming Monday. I am hoping for a good men’s box as well as a women’s box!

I just checked, and it looks like the they’re only showing the products from last month’s box so far. They’ve been off & on with posting spoilers, so keeping fingers crossed they change up those photos soon!

“There is a plan to offer them throughout 2016, but we aren’t releasing any details on the December timing just yet. Keep checking back on the target.com site for more information.”

What is the difference between “go live” and “go on sale”?

Oops! Sorry for the confusion. No difference between go live and go on sale. Really it’s just what type of email communication you prefer.

I just reached out to customer care. They said, “I have checked and see that the Beauty box launches the first Monday of every month. You can expect the sale this coming Monday.
We’ll see!

When I had trouble with offshore CS, I asked to be transferred to domestic CS. I was and had a lovely conversation with a very helpful representative. I asked if there was any chance of these boxes becoming subscription at any point and was told not anytime soon.
I realize this is a little off topic but thought I’d pass along what I was told.

I was thinking it probably wouldn’t release till the 5th. The last one went out on October 31 meaning there were 2 releases in October. I figured Target would wait until the first Monday in December. I’ve been checking for new boxes though and have come up empty.

I wondered if it was gonna be available this past Monday and thought they surely wouldn’t release it on Cyber Monday with all their previous issues they’ve had. Of course, with Target, that’s the sort of thing they might do.

Their customer service chat people have the WORST grammar! Whenever I chat with them they always use the phrase “let me see what best can be done”. It drives me nuts.

Generally when you see grammar like that you are *chatting* with someone from an overseas call center. Foreign languages don’t always translate exactly. My cat’s name is Gato Malo (Spanish) and the literal translation is Cat Bad. In English I would say Bad Cat. If I used the literal translation I would call him Malo Gato and any Spanish speaker would laugh at my poor grammar.

Lol! I’m a grammar nerd, so I love this comment. Despite hating bad grammar, one of my favorite things is fortune cookie fortunes with poor grammar or incomplete thoughts. They are always funny. My favorite: “Be patient: the Great Wall didn’t got build in one day.”

Does anyone remember the announcement that the MENS BOX was available, we all bought 2, then got the email saying our orders were cancelled? Im wondering about THAT situation as well as the new general/womens beauty box that comes out each month… Sigh. Target! Why’re you doing this to us!?
